This is a fitting thought for most people in today's world when it comes to health. We live with the sentiment "wait until tomorrow" to start being healthy and then reality strikes  in the form of a chronic disease. At that point, our life is no longer under our control but under the control of medicine and needed medical care.

    An Educators Perspective on Childhood Health w/ Jeanie Johnson

    In this episode, Jeanie and I discuss the changes she has seen in the teaching of health, nutrition, and physical education over her years in public education. She shares the needs that she sees for proper growth for the kids from kindergarten all the way through seniors in high school. We also briefly touch on the long term implications of the COVID pandemic on the health of staff and students in the school system.

    I've known Jeanie for a few years now. Her combination of understanding the regulations and knowing what the kids really need is going to be hard to replace as she is retiring at the end of the 2022 school year.
