The monkey is off our back. This past week Chance Karhliker and Sean McCrory both put down a bruiser buck. Chance got the ball rolling in southern Illinois and Sean struck gold this morning. We're hopeful this is a good sign of success to come. The team collectively have had some great encounters over the past week with some great bucks and it's just a matter of time until they make their mistake.

Week 4 certainly had a lot of excitement in many ways. Covid, pooping from the tree stand, big buck encounters/close calls, calling at deer, social media toxicity, and being positive are some of the topics Kyle Heuerman, Chris Walker, and Matt Lape discuss this week. Enjoy!

Here's a wrap up of our week 3 deer season with Chance Karhliker, Kyle Martin, and Chris Walker. We had some great encounters, but the best is yet to come. Things are starting to heat up and the temperatures are finally dropping. Lord willing the farmers will get their crops out sooner than later and will really help open the flood gates of those mature bucks that have been hiding.

Week two of deer season had some excitement despite the crappy weather. Kyle, Justin Roepke, and Jake Vancil walk you through their week 2 of deer season here in Illinois.

The deer season opening week definitely had some highlights and we're hopeful that's a good sign on what's to come. Join us with our weekly updates and hear us strategize on our next moves. Every season is a marathon, not a sprint, full of highs and lows. The key is how you adapt in the moment to make it all come together.

Season opens tomorrow October 1st for a lot of us. Sean McCrory from Missouri has been out a handful of times since opener on September 15th. We catch up with how it's been going and discuss the upcoming strategies he'll put in play. Then we catch up with Nic Chambers who just returned home from a successful DIY Public Land elk hunt. Now that he's back he's ready to put his boots to the ground chasing giant whitetails in Kansas.

South Dakota didn't disappoint. Kyle Heuerman and Jake Vancil teamed up for an epic trip at Bad River Bucks and Birds in South Dakota. Kyle definitely rode the struggle bus early on, but made it count on the last day on an incredible buck. South Dakota is truly an incredible state to hunt full of wild game not to mention you can hunt a mule deer or a whitetail deer on the same tag. Chris has some exciting news that will certainly change his life forever! Kyle and Chris then talk about the summer update, progression of projects, and some hit list bucks in the making. July was a busy month, but it's looking as if August and September will be even busier.

Team member Joel Eggers hops on to tell us all about his recent outfitting start up and how it helps fund his end game goals. Kyle and Joel discuss trail cameras, scrapes, and other tips and tricks learned over the years. We also catch you up to speed on preparations for the 2021 deer season and what we're putting in place now. Joel is one of the most passionate whitetail hunters we've met and pours everything he has into each and every deer season. It's always a pleasure talking with Joel and we hope you enjoy it as well.

This past week has been nothing short of amazing as Team Radical put down 13 gobblers since our last podcast. From IL, MO, TN, and KS the guys and gals put the hurting on some big long beards on private and public lands. We hope you enjoy the podcast and appreciate the positive feedback.

Sean McCrory takes us through his 2020 Missouri deer hunting season. Sean had an incredible season, but was a roller coaster of emotions. After we take you through his season we jump right into hunting shed antlers. It's that time of year to get the boots on the ground and there isn't many shed hunters out there as dedicated as Sean. Many years Sean finds 100 plus shed antlers.

Chris Walker and Kyle Heuerman take us through their 2020 deer hunting season. Chris had his best season to date. Not only did he tag his biggest buck to date during archery season in Illinois, but he was able to fill his second tag on a very unique buck.
