    Frasier: Look Before You Leap

    Frasier: Look Before You Leap

The Advent Calendar House has awoken early from its long winter’s nap to take the Leap Year challenge as prescribed by Dr. Frasier Crane on one unseasonably warm February morning in 1996. On the way we look up the “Frasier” cast’s Christmas connections, explore the world of complicated opera solos and bad Western ballads, and call in to a PBS pledge drive to try and talk to Big Bird.

Minisode 114: Movie Table Talk (The Birdcage)

It's once again time for a Please Make This Minisode! Movie Table Talk is exactly what it sounds like, a group of pals sitting around a table talking about a movie. This time around, the group is talking about The Birdcage (1996) in which a cabaret owning couple put on a ruse to help their son who demands they act normal for to meet his fiance's conservative family. Hilarity ensues! Join us at the table and let's have some fun!

Sometimes you just shouldn't let a Seagal soar. Will and Matt discuss the confusing "buddy-cop" action comedy starring one of the Wayans Brothers, Steven Seagal, and Brian Cox doing accents all in an attempt to muddle Stephen Tobolowsky's five minute masterclass of acting.

DISCLAIMER: Language and Spoilers! (and Seagal)

    30 Days of Night

    30 Days of Night

    Rock Of 76, 86,96

    Rock Of 76, 86,96

The year was 1976 or was it 86 or even 96 , there was great music to be heard throughout the land. And we have on this episode of Rock Phoenix Live. If you are wondering what the sound was back in 1976,1986 and 1996 then give this show a listen because it will fill you in and so you can have a knowledgeable conversation with people older than you if your a millennial. Or if you know about the 1976 already then listen because it will take you back. Personally I dig the 96 music, better sound. But hey the 90's got their music from the 80's and the 80's got their music from the 70's so its a learning curve. Happy Listening and Rock On  Together As One Around The World.

    Thesis (1996)

The squad settles in with a little snuff and reviews Colton's pick, THESIS (1996). Does the analog detective work still work twenty years later? Have recent horror releases been sorely lacking good chase sequences? And, did Colton's misunderstanding of what this film was about completely ruin his enjoyment? Tune in to find out if we gave this film a NAY, OKAY, YAY, or SLAY!

DJ B-12 Deep Acid House Experience #44 - February 2023 - Bonus Show -DJ B-12 @ Resonate Together - Bonus Show

Hello and welcome to The DJ B-12 Deep Acid House Experience episode number 44. This month we have a special guest mix that DJ B-12 did for Resonate Together which aired last Saturday, February 18th and was his 12th show on there.

This set is quite a nice mixture of 30 tracks and varying styles from oldskool progressive house and trance, to deep house, breaks, acid, house, vocal house, melodic house and techno, and even a little bit of hardcore breakbeat. It has a reuntime of around 60 minutes.
