In 1992 Ben Stiller, along with Janeane Garofolo, Bob Odenkirk, Andy Dick, Dana Gould, John F. O Donoghue, Dino Stamatopoulos & Judd Apatow initiated the acerbic meta-comedy of the 90’s with “The Ben Stiller Show” for which they were rewarded with an Emmy AFTER they were cancelled by Fox.

From Andras Jones: The world was never more wrong about this show than when it came out and still, far too few people, even those who are steeped in the comedy of the 90’s, remain unaware of it or its influence. In this epic end of year episode Bryan and I attempt to correct this oversight.

Imagine Polanski doing an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” with a young Ryan Gosling and then decide if it’s something you want to see, or notsee.

Stoogemaniacs are willing to accept Shemp and Curly Joe, so why can’t they be okay with three more new stooges? I am and I have a tattoo of Shemp on my body for crying out loud! This is a truly great slapstick comedy.

On the night of May 27, 1998, Brynn Hartman returned home from dinner with friends and she and Phil Hartman had a heated argument. Phil eventually withdrew from the argument and went to bed. Brynn, under the influence of drugs and alcohol, shot her sleeping husband three times, this is the story of the murder of Phil Hartman.

ANDRAS JONES time travels back to 1999 to ask a question about an odd event he experienced when he was starring in "The Attic Expeditions" and attending Jon Brion's Friday night shows at Largo on Fairfax in Los Angeles.
