What does it mean to CLEAR?

What does it mean to CLEAR?

You clear your desk. You clear your kitchen. You clear your closet. What if we cleared ourselves?

What does it mean to CLEAR?

For the past 3 days I have been so exhausted to the point where I could fall asleep standing up. What is that? I got back up after clearing it.

In this episode, I explain what it means to clear something from your life. Our bodies act like radio towers and are picking up thoughts, feelings and emotions all the time. We are infinite beings with infinite knowing.

Consciousness is a choice and when we’re living in tru consciousness, we are one with life. When we’re living in pure, positive energy, we function from total perceiving, knowing, being and receiving.

It’s when we have the ability to transcend our limited circumstances and actualize unlimited possibilities.

    Living with Autism

    Living with Autism

"Sometimes when people talk to carers, they are always so sad about the situation which doesn't always make us as carers feel good. " - Eleshia Harris

Autism is a complex range of conditions that are characterised by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviours, speech, and nonverbal communication.

Affecting the person for life and differing from person to person, it can affect the way they live their lives and interact with the world.

If you’re living with a person on the autism spectrum, you’ll need to have a great deal of patience, understanding, attention and love so you can help provide them with the support they need to thrive.

Although our society is starting to open up and talk more about autism, there is still a certain degree of stigma attached. That’s why we need to communicate more openly about what it means to live with the condition and what it means to care for someone with autism.

In this week’s episode, Eleshia shares her journey as a carer, sister, and mum to her younger brother Jordan who has autism and tells us how she learned to handle fear, develop responsibility and patience and use love to conquer all.

Listen to the episode, get inspired and have a more profound insight as to how it feels to live with autism with gratefulness and appreciation.

It’s also a great episode to start with if you intend to parent mindfully because we can change the world for those with autism. We can teach our children the importance of treating others as equals, regardless of race, gender, economic status, education, sexual orientation and especially differing abilities.

The model is designed to help you understand, respond, and help those in your world who live a life with Autism. Our goal is to help expand your thinking to better serve these amazing people, and to support you in your daily struggles and celebrations.  In this episode we discuss the concept of sense-making for kids and adults on the spectrum, many of whom struggle to “make contact” with their world.  We explain sense-making ie., learning is the natural  “outcome” of a circular process that we all travel through before arriving at understanding. Examples from day to day life as well as the movie “Rainman” are shared to help listeners apply concepts of Gestalt theory that directly align with the circular process of sense-making.

    Autism Awareness Month. Part 1

    Autism Awareness Month. Part 1

April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, a nationwide effort to promote improved understanding and acceptance of people diagnosed with autism. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates autism’s prevalence as 1 in 59 children in the United States—1 in 37 boys and 1 in 151 girls. A lifelong condition, autism spectrum disorder, or ASD, impacts the autistic individual and their families in many ways.

Suzette will help us understand ASD, the importance of early diagnosis, how the parent-doctor and parent-teacher relationships play a huge role in diagnosis, the rights that autistic children have in the classroom, and much more.

Autism Awareness and Making Clubhouse Connections with April Roga | Marketing Expedition Podcast

Up until age 42, April convinced herself she was "less than". First, because of the toxic relationship with her mom and THEN because she believed she was an inadequate mom to her nonverbal, autistic child. That was until she discovered she was April 2.0 after just 42 days of investing (not spending) time with her friend and mentor (and now husband), Roy. Having mostly overcome the difficult issues in her life, she is now April 2.0, the new and transformed version of herself. Because of her trials and breakthroughs, she is now in love with drawing out the dormant inner lioness within women and moms everywhere. By sharing transformational one-liners and teaching both the mechanical and mindset sides of live streaming, she helps women go from feeling inferior to owning their confidence.
