    Self-sabotage refers to the act of undermining one's own goals, desires, or well-being, often unconsciously. Although the specific reasons for self-sabotage can vary from person to person, there are several common underlying factors that contribute to this behavior:

    Fear of failure, low self-esteem, comfort zone, fear of success and unresolved psychology issues are the root to self-sabotage.  You don't have to pick one, it could be all of the above.

    It's important to note that self-sabotage is a complex behavior, and the reasons behind it can be deeply ingrained. Overcoming self-sabotage often requires self-reflection, introspection, and, processing the reasons we sabotage in the first place.

    Sich selbst zu optimieren ist etwas Wunderbares und positiv für uns. Und ist für viele zum Lebensmotto geworden. Kritisch zu betrachten ist diese Motivation der Selbstoptimierung allerdings dann, wenn damit kein Genuss mehr verbunden ist. Wenn es zum Zwang wird und sich dabei keine Zufriedenheit mehr im Alltag einstellen kann. Kleine Anekdote hierzu: eine Kollegin hatte mir vor kurzem berichtet, dass sie versucht morgens um 5 Uhr eine halbe Stunde oder auch eine Stunde Yoga in ihren durchgetakteten Tag einzubauen. Obwohl sie permanent übermüdet ist. Und insgesamt nicht gerade darauf achtet, Signale ihres Körpers zu beachten. Aber: sie ist vom Drang beseelt, alles in ihrem Leben zu optimieren. Yoga muss also irgendwo "reingequetscht" werden. Auch wenn das offenbar (das ist offensichtlich) keinerlei positiven Effekt erzeugt. In diesem Podcast ein kleiner Ausflug in dieses spannende Thema. Wie immer geht es mir auch hier darum, zum selbständigen Denken anzuregen. Das Gute an der Selbstoptimierung ist: wenn wir das "richtig" handhaben, stärken wir damit unsere Selbstwirksamkeit.
