We think life is not happening the way we want and that God or the Universe has singled us out and wants us to be alone when in fact being alone is a blessing in disguised. There is so much that can be accomplished in the time of being alone then when we are surrounded by others. Being alone is definitely a time to get to know yourself, develop yourself, and in most cases, heal yourself :). Let's get into it

    We all have our own challenges, doubts, fears, and low frequency emotions and with 80% of our daily thoughts being negative, it's important to know we have a CHOICE of what thoughts we give attention to. 
    If you feel your energy levels dropping and your emotional frequency  sinking find some ways to get your thoughts out of your head. Journaling, talking out loud to yourself or to a friend are great tools.  Not giving the thoughts feelings and emotions an outlet keeps them ricocheting around in your mind trap. 

    Jana talked about Untamed by Glennon Doyle ( https://amzn.to/3E5GPhk ) and getting outside of your comfort zone.  Don't stay trapped in your same differentness.

    Set an emotional ledge so you have a place to stop the backslide and also a place to push off and propel yourself forward.   It's like a Spin Positive tool.
    Set that emotional ledge to keep you from going over the emotional ledge.

    TALK TO YOURSELF ( Living Lucky )

    Some of us spend a great deal of time learning how to communicate with others.  Jana even went to school for it and Majored in Communication at the University of Illinois.   

    How much time have you spent communication with yourself in a healthy way,  learning how to listen to yourself, or learning how to talk to yourself?   There are thousands of little life hacks, but if your inner dialogue is still abusive or negative, your outer world experience will ultimately turn to reflect the tone of your inside voice.

    Jana's mom always said, "When you look good, you feel good. When you feel good, you do good."  She was talking about self care and physiology. Head up, shoulders back, smile, deep breaths... looks good ... good presentation creates and empowered state.  It feels good to be empowered.  Let's do good things.

    One of our best business decisions was working with Lisa Nichols as a speaking and storytelling coach.  She gave us a POWERFUL self-communication tools.  It's a minimum 30 day exercise of talking to yourself.
    Exercise:
    1. Get in front of a mirror.
     2. State your name and say "I'm so Proud of you for ___________"
    3. State your Name and say "I forgive you for _________"
    4. State your Name and say "I commit to you that I will _________"

    Repeat steps 2-4 seven times. Each day you will say your name and tell yourself you are proud of yourself, you forgive, yourself, and you commit to yourself 7 things.  It's okay if you repeat yourself.  Let your should talk to you.

    I share one of my favorite tools on this show and I want to share it with all of you! When I learned this tool, it completely changed my life for the greater. Ahhhh…. (the sound you hear when the heavens open up.) I was taught to think positively and push through the negative. “I can do it.” And that works . . . for so long and then for some of us, we continue to hit a wall.

     

    That was me. I kept hitting a big wall and judging myself for not being able to “get rid of the thoughts”. I thought I was wrong for not doing the work “right”. Then I got that our bodies are energetic receptors picking up other people’s thoughts, feelings and emotions all day long. I’m here to help ya out girl. . . they’re not yours! Yay! How does it get any better than that? 

     

    We are MAGICAL receptors picking up information all day long. That’s all it is. We are NOT our thoughts, feelings and emotions. We are just picking up thoughts, feelings and emotions. Just like a radio tower. When we ‘get that’ - FREEDOM!

Create the experience inside and change your view/belief and watch your world shift and change right in front of your very eyes. It takes 28 days to change and incorporate a new habit. Be consistent and you will go far. The real difference that separates the successful and the not successful are habits and beliefs that are consistent.

    In times like this, I have to remind myself to focus on love, because where there is love fear cannot exist. The path through life is not a straight line, so when you run across obstacles and challenges, remember to love your way through life!

    006: Busting Through Your Limiting Beliefs

    Today we're talking about Limiting beliefs. Those thoughts that are holding you back. Those made up beliefs and stories inside our heads that hold us back from making our dreams a reality. Those negative thoughts telling you that you can’t do something

    What can we do about these thoughts and beliefs?Give them a big, swift, kick in the booty!! Jackie Chan those thoughts and get rid of them!!

    Only YOU can change your thoughts which in turn will change your limiting, craptastic  beliefs into Empowering/Supportive or Baddass beliefs

    You cannot change what you do not acknowledge! 

    You have to shine a bright laser beam on those beliefs, grab them, smash them, and replace those thoughts with what you truly want to believe about yourself and your future!! 

    YOU can change the narrative in your mind and flip those limiting beliefs on their head…

    The only way to change your limiting beliefs is through taking ACTION. Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.

    Limiting beliefs are holding you back from what you truly want! These negative beliefs are not allowing you to fully BE who you want to BE and DO what you want to DO. Call them out by name- You are WRONG, Tammy!! 


    Remember… the only way to change your limiting/craptastic beliefs is to acknowledge them and to take the ACTION to CHANGE them! You are in control of CHANGING those beliefs into Empowering Beliefs! Flip the narrative. Write them down, acknowledge them, and write down your new beliefs! Put them in your face. You CAN do this!
