Tensions flare aboard the International Space Station as war breaks out on Earth. Ashley & Matt review I.S.S. (2024) in this episode.
The Earth, from space, looks beautiful unless it’s on fire from nuclear annihilation. That’s what the American and Russian astronauts in the new movie I.S.S., for International Space Station, see up there and it leads to some international tension with deadly results. Suddenly the U.S. and Russia are in a nuclear war and each countries astronauts have received orders to take the I.S.S. over by any means necessary. Can anyone trust each other, even if you’re on the same side? It’s an intriguing premise for a movie, especially in space, but is it worth you launching towards the theater to see it? Check out this episode to find out. I.S.S. is directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite and stars Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, John Gallagher Jr., Masha Mashkova, Costa Ronin and Pilou Asbaek

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman and Viola Davis star in the new movie about how, in 1984, Nike courted Michael Jordan to choose their brand and launch the now iconic Air Jordan shoes. Ashley, Matt and Garret review AIR in our latest episode.
You can consider us MVPs (most virtual podcasters) this week as we review Air, the latest film directed by Ben Affleck. Yes, Ben is BACK, and he co-stars with Matt Damon in this 80s-set biographical drama from Amazon about how Nike signed with then-rookie Michael Jordan to create the Air Jordan shoe line against all odds. The movie also stars Jason Bateman, Marlon Wayans, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker, and Viola Davis. Is this movie a shoe-in for some Oscars? Is Affleck back in step? Will it be nothing but profit? Will Jon and Will calm down on the basketball puns which were cheap layups from the start?
