    Why We Forgive

    Why We Forgive

This powerful lesson was given by Terry Lewis, an elder at Sooner East Church of Christ, and is about why Christians are exhorted to practice forgiveness with others.

[Eph 4:31-32 NKJV] 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Psychiatrie : discipline médicale ? Témoignage de Juliette

Juliette a 30 ans.

Cela a duré 42 jours.

    Emilie – Dermatologue
    Célia - Infirmière hospitalière
    Bénédicte – Responsable formation
    Julien – infirmier libéral

    Bonne écoute !

    #193 No Back-Burner Issues

Sometimes it seems so much easier not to say anything. So we take our 'issue' and we put it on the back burner and pretend it doesn't exist. But the thing is, things on the back burner eventually start to stink and wreak a lot of havoc in our lives. Having a no back-burner issue standard in your relationships is an amazing way to keep things clean and moving forward, and even moving deeper.

047 How to Have Hard Conversations with Your Teen to Build Relationships with Kristen Goodman

How do we have the hard conversations with our teens?   How do we talk with them about mental health, pornography, sex, politics, social media, suicide prevention?  How do we have these conversations and not get into arguments?  Why are we triggered when our kids disagree with our viewpoints?

Kristen Goodman, parent and teen coach and I have a great conversation about how to approach challenging talks with our kids.  It doesn't have to go to arguing and contention.  We can disagree without being disagreeable.  Conflict is part of relationships, it's normal.  It's okay to disagree, we don't have to bicker and get heated.

Jude - Contending for the Faith - PDF
Sunday, April 25, 2021. We are in our 3rd week of the study on Jude and we are titling this message "Contending for the Faith". Contending for something isn't in God's original plan for mankind, have you ever thought about that? When God created everything 6000+ years ago, He reviewed everything and He said that it was very good. Very Good by God's standard is "perfection". Perfection means that God and everything He created was at PEACE, meaning there was no contention and thus contending wasn't in the vocabulary. Then sin came and all PEACE was broken, and thus contention enters the scene and that's where we are today. So today, Jude says we are to "contend for the faith" - meaning we are to stand up for it and against everything that is against it. This is a great message that needs to be shared and understood, so I pray that the Holy Spirit brings it alive as you worship with us. Be Blessed...
