Everybody Poops: What Your Momma Didn't Tell You

Everybody Poops: What Your Momma Didn't Tell You

Gals! I know this is NOT a fun or PC subject, but we must  talk about it. Bowel movements are one of the most natural of functions and a huge indicator of health. It's weird because dudes talk about this all the time; so why shouldn't we?? It's nothing to be embarrassed about.

You should be checking your urine color and stool consistency daily. It's part of assessing your health. So find out what your poop is telling you in this episode. We promise that it's not too gross. This is real talk (like all our episodes are) informing you of some things you really need to evaluate in everyday life.

There are tons of things that can affect your poop. We go over them. There are many  organs involved in making poop. We tell you what those are. We talk about the pitfalls of 'not going' every day and what your poop should look like. So tune in; this will be a fun(ny) one.

EP49: Dr Selvi's Story - Crohn's Disease Nearly Killed Me!

EP49: Dr Selvi's Story - Crohn's Disease Nearly Killed Me!

Selvi remembers the devastation she felt decades ago, when she was given the diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease. What followed was a downward spiral of unanswered questions, medications, major surgeries and even near death. Nothing worked, she was trapped in her body's prison of pain and exhaustion. She lost friendships, relationships, and even her medical career, and worst of all, her desire to live. Enough was enough, as Selvi began to explore alternatives that would finally lead to her amazing and liberating, decade long remission. Her passion lies in applying these and other methods she learned along the way, to help others. An incredible story!
