After Jesus' Transfiguration, He comes down from the mountain to find His disciples arguing with teachers of the Law and others. When Jesus inquires about the cause of the argument, a man tells Jesus that the disciples were unable to exorcise a demon from his son. When the disciples ask Jesus why they couldn't cleanse the boy from the demon, Jesus' very puzzling answer is, "This kind of demon can only come out by prayer." As we delve into 1 Corinthians chapter 2, we see Paul makes many distinctions between the, "mature man," and the, "immature or natural man." Paul isn't referring to the differences in true Christians' walk with Christ in this chapter. Instead, he is pointing out the sharp and definite contrasts between believers and unbelievers. It use to be that Mormons claimed their religion to be unique and not Christian. They even performed a play where a Protestant minister was used by Satan to deceive Adam. Everything we have looked at in the past 7 episodes of our series, Be Transformed, are connected. In this episode, our transformation takes a slightly different turn, but it's no less connected. In this episode, we look at being transformed to call out evil as evil. The world is changing rapidly. So many things that are evil are being touted as good, while true good is being denounced as evil. And this is true even in some of our churches! Christians need to have the courage and wisdom to call evil out, stand firm in Biblical Truth, while continuing to glorify God. It seems an impossible task, but Jesus tells us it is possible, but we need to be prepared. Join us for this episode and the next episode as we look at how we prepare ourselves to stand firm against evil and shine the light of the Gospel into an ever darkening world.

We have all been faced with times when we have needed to decide if we should speak up and confront someone about something they did or something they may believe, or just shut up and mind our own business.  What does Scripture say?
