The Game of Life! Using game related analogies to help you understand CONSCIOUS Manifestation/Law of Assumption
Hey legends! So, in this week's episode, I'm using game related analogies to explain CCONSCIOUS Manifestation/Law of Assumption. Neville Goddard & Florence Scovel Shinn both have books called 'The Game of Life', but I'm specifically using the idea of a card game to make my points this week! Enjoy!

Playing the Game of Life as an Empowered Woman - EP 020
Moving on to the much-anticipated Playbook practice.
I loosely defined the Playbook as a new perspective and guide on playing the game of life for the Everyday Heroine.
Happiness may be the easiest one to agree upon in this way. Each person has a unique perspective on what makes them happy. It is very personal and specific to each person. I love it because it inspires a very rich and colorful way to live life. It can bring out the beauty in humanity. We can see how the products and services we use and consume are designed to allow for a unique experience for self-expression. With different colors, shapes, and sizes we feel like we can get exactly what we want to make us feel like true individuals.
Now when we take a similar approach to life and liberty, we can open a conversation that is free to explore the extremes. Liberty, also known as freedom and independence has a sliding scale where one side opposes the other.
The balance between surviving and thriving is something we know a little bit about. We can send regular everyday humans into space and bring them back safely. As humans, we can learn more and thrive more, so the Playbook is a place to start the conversation so that everyone benefits.
From my perspective, I see the Playbook as a way to educate and inspire women to live a life of empowerment. It is a topic I am passionate about, and it is my mission in life not only to live a more empowered life myself but also to help others do the same.
So it looks like the Playbook is turning into a practice of gaining perspective on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as we play the game of life like an Everyday Heroine.
First, let me remind you of the outline I started previously.
There are 7 facets to the Playbook guidelines:
As you may know, I am generally following the Major League Baseball rule book as I create this Playbook. And it may surprise you that the objective of the game of baseball is described in 6 sentences.
I will read them to you for perspective and appreciation of the game known as America’s National Pastime.
As I bring this episode to a close, I’ll share the 6 sentences that make up the objective for this Playbook and Playing the Game of Life - like an Everyday Heroine.
1.0 The Objective of the Game
- The Game of Life is a game played by a human living in a physical world between birth and until death, under the direction of that human being, and in accordance with the rules of nature.
- The human has cycles of sleep and wake stages that are a normal part of surviving and thriving, under the hierarchy of Maslow’s needs.
- During the sleep stage, the human enters a state that provides rest and replenishment that supports advancement for the human’s existence during the wake stage.
- During wake stages the human enters a realm with a variety of options for existence that ultimately facilitate growth and advancement.
- The objective of the human is to progress through the hierarchy of Maslow’s needs based on the human conditions available in the physical world at the time of existence.
- The quality of life is solely judged by its creator and there is no such thing as losing.
That gets us started on the Playbook for now. There will be so much more to come in next week’s episode and beyond.

512 - What We Can Learn About Life and Work From Phil Mickelson
Phil Mickelson shocked the golf world by winning the 103rd PGA Championship (one of the 4 major golf tournaments of the year) last week. He turns 51 in June...and no one that old has ever won a major golf tournament. Many have noticed he is a much calmer, more patient golfer than he's ever been. Something was different about Phil. It turns out Mickelson has been practicing relaxation, meditation and visualization techniques these last 2-3 years.
I thought it would be interesting to look at what he implemented in his golf game and look at how we can apply it to our game in real life. After all, it is called the game of life for a reason. Why not work towards mastering our game by applying what Phil has to our lives as well!
Here's a summary of what we can learn from Phil Mickelson's victory in our personal and work life:
- Proper preparation starts with a powerful mindset
- Select the club you can swing
- For the next shot, make it the best routine of the day
- If you don't see it, you cannot create it
- Make a complete swing

Big Breaks vs Small Breaks - Life Just Isn't Fair
Life isn't fair, it's just fairer than death, that's all. - William Goldman
In todays Friday Fire I explain that life isn't fair, sometimes you get the big break, and sometimes you don't. Thats just how it goes. Though remember, it's easy to criticize someone else for their big break, though do you criticize yourself when you win, when you get lucky or when you get the big break? Probably not. We all usually wrap up our success as hard work, as we know the work put in, though we don't always see the hard work other put in when we consider them lucky. Also don't get too caught up in the 'Big Breaks' as there we are all given plenty of small breaks that we all too often take for granted.

Peter Weibel, Ludger Brümmer, Jens Barth: Music by Cell Algorithms
Molecular Aesthetics | Symposium
Symposium at ZKM | Center for Art and Media, July 15 -17, 2011 in cooperation with DFG-Center for Functional Nanostructures (CFN) Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT).
Music is defined as time-based art. This conception is expressed by the intervall theory which is the dominant theory for Western music. On the lines of a score (invented by Guido Arezzo, 1025) notes are placed one after another as a temporal sequence. With the help of Clifford Algebra and Grassmann Vector Spaces it can be demonstrated that a single topological sequence can be transformed into different temporal sequences. By this method music becomes part of topology, space-based art. The notes of a score can be independent as points and numbers. These numbers are part of a field, topological neighbours. The Game of Life by John Conway (1970) is an ideal field to reflect this new conception of music. The Game of Life is a cellular automaton and serves as method of composition. It consists of a regular grid of cells, each in one of a finite number of states, such as "On" and "Off". The grid can be in any finite number of dimensions. For each cell, a set of cells called its neighborhood is defined relative to the specified cell. For example, the neighborhood of a cell might be defined as the set of cells a distance of 2 or less from the cell. The cells are treated as notes and can be calculated or »composed« according to the rules of the Game of Life. Naturally this process can also be interpreted in a rather free way.

Symposium im ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie, 15. -17. Juli 2011
