I Can Do with Benjamin Lee

I Can Do with Benjamin Lee

Welcome to the 4th ever ESM interview. I did one with Hal Elrod several years ago. At Christmas last year I shared one with Kenny Embry. A few weeks ago we brought on Jacob Hudgins. And now... my good friend and fellow podcaster, Benjamin Lee.

Ben's drive and faith and laugh just draw people to him. He's an incredible motivator. His openness and honestly about his own journey, struggles, and successes are incredibly motivating. Today we talk about what it means to live intentionally. Along the way, I got to ask him about some really cool concepts he has featured in his life, like Start, Stop, Continue! I hope you enjoy this as much has we did.

I want to link you to some great resources. Firstly, here is Ben's personal homepage with access to his blogs and podcast and other resources.

Also, a book he recommended:  10X is Better than 2X

    MEMORABLE MOMENTS

“I love the feeling of resting in a body that is self loving. For much of my life, I was at war with myself and my emotions.”

“I could feel electricity pulsing through my body and my mind was clear for the first time in forever. I felt my heart open. It was an incredible experience.”

“I used breathwork to help heal my eating disorder. It helped me rediscover who I am, my infinite potential, and how to be radically self-loving.”

“Self-love is an attunement to our inner child and our hearts every single moment of every single day. And if I can really get with that I can set myself free.”

“I managed to heal myself from disordered eating and body image issues through breathwork and somatic healing. I was constantly thinking about what I need to do in order to feel better.”

“There's two types of breathing: breathing to survive and breathing to thrive. When we use our breath intentionally and consciously, we find ourselves in a place of relaxation. We welcome more well-being into our body.”

“When we eat food our body processes it out. But with emotion and trauma, the body holds it unless we allow it to move through. So a lot of us are just incredibly emotionally constipated walking around the world.”
