This past spring my friend Candy and I explored the province of Lazio, #italy one of our #daytrips was visiting the town of Lazio and the Villa D'Este and #gardens. In today's podcast I talk about the gorgeous waterfalls, this 16th-century estate and villa, and the expansive grounds. We began in Lake Maggiore (Verbania) and made our way through Piemonte to Montepulciano and ended our five day adventure in Vicenza. After a little break, we are back with the Cork & Taylor Wine Podcast  and we are joined by my colleague/friend Tony Marchetti who has been suppling delicious imported wines from Italy, France, Spain and Germany all throughout the United States for a long time. Tony has a great background and enjoyed sitting down with him to talk wine amongst other things!

This week on Food Talk with Mike Colameco, sommeliers Victoria James and Lyle Railsback join Mike in studio to talk about wine. Victoria became certified as a sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2012 when she was just twenty and won the Ruinart Sommelier Competition and Best Sommelier of the Languedoc Roussillion Competition. Sales manager of Kermit Lynch Wine Importers, Lyle is a wine expert leading regional sales of a terrific portfolio of Italian and French wines.
