The Short Family Murders /// Part 3 /// 604
Part 3 of 3
Around 9AM August 15th, 2002 a man named Chris Thompson went to his employer’s home. This was a scheduled work day and Chris was to be there at the home to start work that morning. When he arrived Chris found the overhead garage door to the home open. He found his boss inside the garage, dead. Michael Short had been shot once in the head. Inside the Henry County Sheriff’s department located Michael’s wife Mary. She too had been shot once in the head. As if things weren’t already bad enough, the Sheriff’s department could not locate the Short’s 9 year old daughter. What was the motive here in this double homicide? Where was the little girl? Join us in our Garage as we take a deep dive and look at a case that is now 20 years old and 20 years unsolved. This week we spotlight this case and the investigation that ensued over the years. Plus we look at some theories and suspects.

The Evansdale Murders - Ten Years Later /// Part 1 /// 595
Part 1 of 2
What could be more innocent, more everyday America, than two little girls setting off on a bike ride to explore the neighborhood? Something they had done countless times before. Except this time, they did not come home. This week we re-visit the still unsolved double murder case of Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Colins. We covered this case for the first time over two years ago and with the unfortunate ten year anniversary since these two wonderful and bright little girls were taken we felt compelled to give this another look and hope for some renewed interest and awareness of this still unsolved case. This case has been compared to the Delphi case countless times as there are many similarities. Just like the Delphi case someone knows something. If you have any information about the circumstances surrounding the disappearance and deaths of Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins, please call theEvansdale Policetip line at 232-6682 orCedar Valley Crime Stoppersat 855-300-8477. Princess Doe ////// 594
Part 1 of 1
On July 15th, 1982 a grave digger at the Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Blairstown New Jersey made a gruesome discovery. On the very edge of the grounds near highway 94 in a wooded area near a creek he found the body of a young female. She had been bludgeoned to death and left there for an indeterminate amount of time. The good people of local law enforcement and the people of Blairstown named her “Princess Doe.” Unfortunately we are coming up on forty years since she was killed and we still do not know the true identity of Princess Doe. This topic led us to many other topics while exploring the theories surrounding the mystery of Princess Doe. Those topics include but were not limited to - The crimes of Arthur and Donna Kinlaw, The “Tiger Lady” who’s remains were found in 1991 along highway 94, The Long Island Serial Killer and Joel Rifkin. Be Good, Be Kind & Don’t Litter!
America’s Highway Serial Killers /// Part 2 /// 591
Part 2 of 4
This week we start off by looking at an unsolved homicide of a young woman from California. Twenty two year old Kristin Alice Schmidt’s body was recovered from a State Park in Oregon. She was killed elsewhere and her body dumped and discovered by campers. As we started to look at Kristin’s still very active case investigation we learned that something larger may be at hand. Something so much larger than any one investigation. Something larger than an Oregon state investigation. America has a problem that was first identified back in the 1980’s. In April of 2009 the F.B.I. announced their Highway Serial Killings Initiative to raise awareness among law enforcement agencies and the general public about this issue and the F.B.I.’s offered assistance in these cases.

Hear Austin Delgado’s astonishing transformation from addict to pastor. His past of drugs led him to a double life–by day, a law clerk, by night, a homeless junkie. As God does, He worked in mysterious ways right at Austin’s rock bottom, where Austin’s desperation led him to use Bob Marley songs to pray to God the only way he knew how.
God answered those prayers as Austin’s two worlds soon collided and his fallacy was exposed. Be encouraged as you see how God miraculously heals Austin from his addiction and the lies he tried to hide it with.
Part 1
Hear the mindset of an addict as Austin takes us through his sad past. Austin shares how he was “utterly enslaved by the needle,” which caused him to lie, cheat and steal for his addiction. See how our times of desperation allow God to do His most amazing work.
