Great having on David today talking all things @detroitlionsnfl #onepride after a season that left them just short of their first #superbowl trip ever.   What has to be done next season to get them there?   Is #jaredgoff the long term answer at QB?   Defense definitely needs to get better next #nfl season.  Love #dancampbell want to get David’s take on him.   Going to also touch on the other #motorcity teams @detroitpistons & @tigers & @detroitredwings with a great trivia question for him too.

Milton joined me today on #podcast to talk @umichfootball getting ready to play #cfpnationalchampionship game at #nrgstadium and he’ll be there.   @uw_football #michaelpenixjr didn’t have to deal with any pressure from @texasfootball sorry @partylikearochkind but that won’t happen from #wolverines with their DC #jesseminter working his magic.  #jjmccarthy still waiting for that blowout game.  He’s been efficient but want more from him.  If working on all cylinders #michigan is the more complete team then #huskies but that’s why they play the game.
@umichbball #juwanhoward on precarious ground.  Future not looking good.  Doesn’t have the head coaching track record of #jimharbough but who does?
Milton will be back after the game Monday night. Win or lose but hopefully win #goblue

Today after the third win in a row for @umichfootball over @ohiostatefb 30-24 I had on the #podcast @nikkischwartz_ and my friend Milton a season ticket at #thebighouse since 1985.  37-3 last 3 years under #jimharbaugh the #wolverines play @hawkeyefootball in the @bigten #championshipgame next weekend and then the #cfp after that.  We don’t want a repeat of the @tcufootball game this year.  Agree with Milton #marvinharrisonjr is the real deal though I feel he could have helped out his #quarterback #kylemccord on that first INT.  Wouldn’t be surprised if the #buckeyes move on from Coach Day.  Let him go to @aggiefootball they have deep pockets. Talked #signstealing too which everyone is doing.  To think #michigan went 12-0 and had their coach suspended for six games is quite impressive.  Think that #harbaugh should stay in #annarbor and he would be a legend.  Same goes for @umichbball head coach #juwanhoward one of the #fabfive he’s had a rough start but give him time and the results will come.  Milton is also a season ticket for @umichhockey and we plan on getting to a #basketball & #hockey game this winter.  Milton will be back on once we get the #collegefootballplayoffs matchups.  Can’t wait.

Stu Douglas Interview: John Belein's Leadership, A Zack Novak Story, and The Current State of Michigan Basketball

On this special edition of the Big House Bleachers Pod, Michael Smeltzer catches up with former Michigan great Stuart Douglas for a Wolverine Chronicle exclusive interview. Stu doesn't disappoint as he takes a deep dive into what made John Belien (and his staff) so effective. He gets personal with a story about a brotherly conflict with his former teammate, Zack Novack, which may have been driven by a little alcohol. And he gives an honest assessment of Juwan Howard and the current Michigan basketball squad. You can catch Stu Douglas regularly on his two podcasts, "Go Blue With Stu" and "Men of Ann Arbor," which he recently started with cohost Nik Stauskas.

The crew also takes time to talk about NFL Draft and whether or not the Lions should have a greater focus on gathering top-tier talent or keep building with players that fit the culture they've created.
