Prospect Park Police Officer Dave Voorhees is our guest. He talks about seeking advice from Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, and Military Combat Medics about which products he needed to buy to add to his trauma kit. On a call for a shooting, he used this homemade trauma kit to save the life of a 17-year-old shooting victim. 

His agency and surrounding police agencies have now created these trauma kits and are issuing them to their law enforcement officers.
