    Trouble Getting Home

    Trouble Getting Home

Happy  2024! While we recorded this in 2023, we too are excited to get to 2024 and kick off this amazing year! Thank you for your continued support! Dan and Lynze each have two tales this week! Dan will share a story about a strange encounter with something in a liquor store and then a story about an airport ghost. Both tales feel like visitors or places we have not explored yet!  Then comes in Lynze with two great shares. The first is about a haunted house in Warren, MA. And then a camping tale that we ponder about being a warning or not!

"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."

Nick Rose is Pretty Much Our New Best Friend

Nick Rose is Pretty Much Our New Best Friend

It was Marquel’s birthday and it was a special day so we had to bring in a special personality. He brought us gifts that every adult that drinks would absolutely love. He brought wine and whiskey and then we took shots on to of the shots we took before he showed up. We was lit before we even started recording. When we say we love what we do because of the people we get to meet, this episode is literally a reflection of that. We had some bumps with the scheduling but i was never worried at all. There are some people that we just are meant to sit and talk with, but with Nick, we just were straight laughing. The way he so nonchalantly state certain things is by gosh, freak hilarious. Just the comfort in how he carries himself is dope. He is about having fun and making the best out of every opportunity presented to him. You also want to hear the confidence he has behind his record “Wandering”. He speaks a lot of behind the scenes things that came in place. As well as his team coming together to make the music happen and basically breaking out every skill and trade that was needed to get it done.

    Storytelling and Selling

    Storytelling and Selling

In this episode we visited our favorite bars, wine shops, and cider festivals to explore the many ways the industry is reaching out to curious drinkers. We spoke with retailers that are expanding their cider selection, looking closely at the language we use to talk about cider, and examined the front and back of labels to understand what’s inside the bottle. Plus we’ll talk tasting notes, industry tips on branding, and other storytelling techniques the cider industry is using to overcome barriers to entry in the craft beverage market.

Space! This is a primarily cum based podcast.  We are cum based lifeforms (not carbon).

This is not the Drunk Pod ep, but we did record one recently. But, you know...this one is probably significantly better due to us not being drunk lol.

Let's party on Mars, like, ASAP. With other certainty perfectionists.

A Revolutionary Liquor Store | Cambridge Wines

A Revolutionary Liquor Store | Cambridge Wines

In this episode, Dan Gianfrancesco and Zack Ryan of StrixMedia crack a bottle with David Bernat, Dan Dinelli, and Anthony Dinelli, the owners of Cambridge Wines (aka our very first sponsors)! The owners of Morristown's largest bottle shop are in high spirits as they discuss the details behind opening Cambridge Wines, and how they took the customer experience into consideration when developing their business model. This is a lengthy podcast, but that's nothing to "wine" about because we really get into details behind the trio's business, their motivations, and how they are redefining customer's expectations of a liquor store.

StrixMedia thanks you for supporting our show! If you haven't already, please give us a like on social media and let us know you are listening. We hope you continue to tune in as we interview business owners and creatives about their stories and how they got to where they are. If you or anyone you know is a business owner or creative with a story to tell, send us an email and we will try to get you on the podcast!
