Unearthing the Phenomenal Power of a Meat-Only Lifestyle: How Chuck Changed his Life and Cured Gout

In today's world, where fad diets and weight loss trends dominate the market, it can be overwhelming to find an effective and sustainable approach to improving one's health. Chuck, a 59-year-old individual, shares his personal journey towards adopting a carnivore diet, which has transformed his life in more ways than he ever imagined. Chuck's story is a testament to the power of embracing a diet that goes against conventional wisdom and prioritizes our evolutionary needs. In this interview we will dive into Chuck's experiences, explore the benefits of a carnivore diet, and address some common concerns about the diet.
He has lost 120lbs of body fat, lowered his blood pressure, lower his a1c and more importantly overcome a 30 year struggle with gout!
    Journey towards the Carnivore Diet
Chuck's journey towards adopting a carnivore diet began when he was very young. He struggled with weight issues and was significantly overweight by the age of 9 or 10. Despite trying numerous diets and experiencing temporary weight loss, Chuck always found himself regaining the weight and feeling miserable in the process. It wasn't until he discovered intermittent fasting and mainstream keto that he experienced some success in losing weight. However, he soon fell into the trap of consuming keto products and saw his progress stall, leading to weight regain.

It was at this point that Chuck's wife stumbled upon Dr. Ken Berry's video, which discussed the drawbacks of counting net carbs and emphasized the importance of focusing on real, whole food keto. Inspired by this information, Chuck and his wife transitioned into a mainly carnivore diet,

    - Inflammatory signaling and toxins leaving the body can cause extra inflammation and slow down weight loss.
    - Foods like sausages may contain lectins that can affect weight loss.
    - Measuring with a caliper or measuring tape is a better way to track progress than relying solely on the scale.
    - Increasing consumption of omega-3 rich foods and reducing dairy and pork intake may help lower homocysteine levels.

Rebirth Through Ribeyes: Amy's Remarkable Recovery with Carnivore Diet. Protein saves her Kidneys

Rebirth Through Ribeyes: Amy's Remarkable Recovery with Carnivore Diet. Protein saves her Kidneys

In my recent interview with 'Carnivore Diet Amy', her transformative journey with the carnivore diet was unveiled. Having been on the diet for a year, Amy attributes her miraculous recovery from Stage 3 kidney disease primarily to a regimen of ribeye steaks and fasting methods inspired by Jason Fung. Originally, her eGFR was alarmingly at 46 - a level dangerously close to necessitating dialysis. However, with her strict meat and animal fat diet, it shot up to an impressive 84. Furthermore, Amy saw her Creatinine levels reduce from 1.36 to just 0.83.

However, Amy's journey wasn't without its setbacks. When she reverted to her previous eating habits, not only did she regain weight, but she also added an additional 30 pounds. This frightening experience prompted her to firmly adopt the carnivore diet on August 1st, 2022. Within a year, she shed an astonishing 60 pounds. Amy refers to the carnivore diet as a literal life-saver, resorting to it for reasons she described as 'life and death'. To emphasize the dire state she was in before starting the diet, she revealed that her doctor had bleakly assessed her kidneys as being irreparably damaged, likening her bloodwork to that of a nonagenarian (someone of 90 years old)
Amy's motto: NOT PERFECTION JUST PROGRESS

42:00 Do you 'fat load' similar to how carb athletes 'carb-load?'

    Sean Sakinofsky
"In 2006, I founded a supplement company which advocated the usage of carbohydrate. Some years later I found myself moving away from a high carb, low fat diet, owing to my discovery of being gluten or wheat intolerant.
In 2013 after losing my father to Oesophageal cancer. I started to “look out of the box” and see a correlation between the high carb, low fat diet and lifestyle diseases such as cancer and cardiac problems which plagued both sides of my family.
The ketogenic diet was not well known back then, but intrigued me owing to its unknown or accepted practice.
It was then when I adopted the diet and also got out of the carbohydrate supplement business. Since adopting the ketogenic diet 9 years ago, I have proven the efficacy of this nutritional lifestyle, it has afforded me better health and more freedom."

Jen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has had the privilege of helping thousands of people conquer their pain and become stronger and more mobile. The only thing that’s been missing in her career is the diet piece. And it turns out, that’s the most impactful part of all!

Dr Jen learned that fact firsthand using HERSELF as the guinea pig.

Jen struggled with autoimmune issues for most of her life. The worst one was psoriasis. She spent 30 years covering her body, picking scales out of her hair, brushing flakes off her sheets every morning, and avoiding all summer activities so nobody could see all the spots Jen was hiding.
