Chuck, a 59-year-old individual, shares his personal journey towards adopting a carnivore diet, which has transformed his life in more ways than he ever imagined. He has lost 120lbs of body fat, lowered his blood pressure, lower his a1c and more importantly overcome a 30 year struggle with gout!
Journey towards the Carnivore Diet
Chuck's journey towards adopting a carnivore diet began when he was very young. He struggled with weight issues and was significantly overweight by the age of 9 or 10. Despite trying numerous diets and experiencing temporary weight loss, Chuck always found himself regaining the weight and feeling miserable in the process. It wasn't until he discovered intermittent fasting and mainstream keto that he experienced some success in losing weight. However, he soon fell into the trap of consuming keto products and saw his progress stall, leading to weight regain.
It was at this point that Chuck's wife stumbled upon Dr. Ken Berry's video, which discussed the drawbacks of counting net carbs and emphasized the importance of focusing on real, whole food keto. Inspired by this information, Chuck and his wife transitioned into a mainly carnivore diet,
