We Rewatch "The Postman" and "The Doors" (So You Don't Have To)
Len and Beave rewatch two notable 90s film releases, "The Doors" starring Val Kilmer (and Titus Welliver in an unforgettable cameo), and "The Postman", directed by and starring Kevin Costner. We discuss our opinions of each movie, and why it succeeded (or failed). Len discusses his hatred for GIovanni Ribisi, and wonders aloud how many Kevin Costner love scenes remained on the cutting floor. Beave reminisces about how things were so much better in the sixties, while Len sighs.

    Poltergeist & The Sixth Sense

    Poltergeist & The Sixth Sense
As All Hallows' Eve approaches with a creeping intensity, Spooktober Spooktacular continues with two iconic cinematic ghost stories that have left an indelible impact with audiences of every subsequent generation: Poltergeist and The Sixth Sense. But before we exercise these spirits, we unpack and sort through our thoughts on the latest Martin Scorsese's historical epic Killers of the Flower Moon, look for answers in the satisfying labyrinth of The Blair Witch Project, and muse over the highs and lows of Hulu's small screen comedy-mystery Only Murders in the Building. Join us as we enter a pair of old dark houses that is our double feature: listen as we try to suss out the Spielbergian elements within Tobe Hooper's 1982 supernatural horror before taking stock of the innumerable hallmarks that at once put Shyamalan on the map in 1999 and established a formula he's yet to ever succeed outside of. The Sixth Sense (1999): "LG(host)B(oy)TQIA+"

    The Sixth Sense (1999): "LG(host)B(oy)TQIA+"

Are you one of the very lucky moviegoers who got to go into The Sixth Sense (1999) totally blind? M. Night Shyamalan’s first big flick rocked audiences when it hit theaters, and that famous twist in the final few minutes had people talking for years. For us, though, the real reveal was that Toni Collette is in this film — and that she is arguably the best part of it. On a new Spooky Tuesday, we’re talking about what we remembered, what we forgot, and who wanted to get their dicks out in what has to be one of the most quoted movies of all time.
