Home Alone is a 1990 Christmas Comedy directed by Chris Columbus and written and produced by the great John Hughes. This is the story of Kevin McCalister played by Macaulay Culkin. Kevin is the youngest son of the McCalister family, we meet Kevin during a wildly chaotic time when his and his uncles family are prepping for a trip to Paris the following day. After an outburst by Kevin he is sent to the attic to sleep the night, but the following morning both families forget about Kevin as they travel to the airport and they leave Kevin at home as the travel to Paris… hence… Kevin McCalister IS, Home Alone… this story also stars Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the Wet Bandits. The 2019 calendar year proved to be a pretty incredible year for film. Of the movies the guys sat down to watch, the one that resonated the most with them, enough to dedicate an entire review to, was "The Irishman" (which would go on to become Luke's favorite film of the year). From the acting to the thematic elements that made the film unique among Scorsese's legendary backdrop, Before Cinema had a lot to say about the movie, so join in as they break Scorsese's latest film!

This episode was recorded in 2019, closer to when the film was initially released on Netflix. It's being released from the vault now to fill in the Thanksgiving week episode. Some traits of the show will be slightly different compared to how things are now due to this fact. With that being said, enjoy! (SPOILER FILLED REVIEW AHEAD)

DeNiro, Pesci, Scorsese, with a dash of Liotta makes this an amazing film. We might have gotten a little too into the movie as this episode might be a bit more explicit than others - the number of F bombs are drastically increased in this episode!
