Morning show #7 – Complete Truth Protein

Welcome to another exciting episode of the D&D Morning Show! Today, Drew and Dorothy are diving into the world of Complete Truth Protein (CTP). They share valuable insights about this incredible product and even have a water drinking tip to enhance your hydration routine.

Complete Truth Protein Original, made with just two ingredients, quinoa and hemp seed, is a versatile addition to your pantry. It's perfect for baking or adding to smoothies, making it convenient to create a nutritious and fulfilling meal in seconds with just three tablespoons. The beauty of CTP lies in its ability to provide clean calories and an impressive array of nutrients, making it a great choice for those seeking a nutrient-packed meal.

While some may prefer the natural, whole-tasting flavor of CTP Original, others may desire a more pronounced taste. That's where the Maca product comes in. Drew and Dorothy discuss how the Maca version caters to those seeking a bolder flavor profile. However, they emphasize that even if you find the natural taste challenging, CTP Original can still be seamlessly incorporated into your meals to provide a quick nutrient boost.

CTP's versatility extends beyond smoothies and baking. If you consume dairy, adding CTP Original to yogurt or cereal can elevate their nutritional value. For smoothie enthusiasts, you'll be delighted to know that the flavor of CTP won't overpower your delicious creations.

No matter how you choose to use CTP, rest assured that it's a clean product, suitable for vegans, and free from gluten, dairy, soy, and GMOs. Adding CTP to your diet is an excellent way to ensure your body receives the necessary nutrients it craves.

So, join Drew and Dorothy on the D&D Morning Show as they explore the world of Complete Truth Protein. With their expert guidance and valuable tips, you'll discover how this product can revolutionize your meals and enhance your overall nutrition. Could Cricket Farming Be the Next Big Thing?

Could Cricket Farming Be the Next Big Thing?

Shelby Smith never expected to be a farmer, so it may be fitting that she's a kind of farmer almost nobody thinks about. Shelby is a cricket farmer. Right in the heart of the Midwest.

She describes this space as one changing quickly and compares it to the reality there was a time most Americans probably thought avocados were odd and wondered why others ate them, while some of us now absolutely crave having guacamole now. We talk with Shelby about whether crickets may be the next big thing in foods and why she believes that.

    We also talk about:

    • Shelby's background growing up on a farm and stumbling into cricket farming when doing research for her next career
    • Trying new foods thanks to a diverse palate -- crickets, tongue tacos, etc. Some people may not like the visual aspect of certain foods
    • What a cricket barn is like and why climate control is critical
    • Buying and growing crickets
    • Feeding practices for crickets
    • New cricket barn excitement
    • Biosecurity and pest control on the cricket farm
    • Food safety considerations for crickets
    • Age is not a barrier to trying cricket-based products.

    Chip Talks - Protein Powders

The good, bad, and ugly about protein powders.  Biggest warning = NO sugar + protein = the Maillard effect = no bueno!  In fact, eating any sugar with fat or protein is not a good idea.  If we want to be "kind" to our bodies and allow our bodies the greatest opportunities to build or heal, depending on our goals, we must understand "how we work".

Should I Have Protein After A Workout? #QuckTipEpisode

Should I Have Protein After A Workout? #QuckTipEpisode

In this video, I address if it's important to have protein after a workout?
Studies show that it may not be a resounding yes, but there are definitely more benefits of getting enough protein then there is of not getting enough protein.
For example, according to an article on Pudmed, it is only important to have protein if you haven't eaten in 5-6 hours either before or after.  If you have, then it won't make things worse but, probably won't make them better either.
However, the biggest issue is not having enough protein in your diet.
How much #protein should I have?
The RDA for protein right not is 0.8 g/kg/day and this is WAY TOO LOW!
According to multiple new studies, having upwards of 2.2 g/kg/day is way better for our bodies especially athletes and elderly.
    What #kindofprotein should I have?
Just read labels and know the difference between a #wheyprotein blend, isolate and concentrate.
