Ep 56 | True Justice: "Dark Vengeance"

Ep 56 | True Justice: "Dark Vengeance"
If you're sitting at home thinking "boy, I sure wish I could listen to more Steven Seagal talk," then you've hit the jackpot with this week's episode! Van continues where we left off last week with this episode of True Justice and he tells Brian and Spencer all about yet another dead girl chained to a fence. Only this time it isn't a stripper... it's a cop!

This hits too close to home for the crew of the Seattle Police Department, so they ask their large mumbly leader to figure out this murderous situation. Of course first he needs to show off his blues guitar chops, but then he'll get to it. So put on your 1940s journalist outfit, ramble out some dialogue, and fist chop your way through this episode of the Boob Tube Boys!

Ep 55 | True Justice: "Black Magic"

Ep 55 | True Justice: "Black Magic"
Being lifelong friends the Boob Tube Boys have many things in common. They all love pizza, they all lived at this one house on Pinehurst in Springfield, Missouri at one point, and they of course all love the works of one Steven Seagal! Seagal typically saves his antics for the silver screen but one time Seagal managed to convince a show developer to give him a a 26 episode series that debuted in Spain (I'm not joking). True Justice is that show!

Listen in to hear Van guide Spencer and Brian onto the seedy streets of Seattle where Detective Elijah Kane (Seagal) and his band of misfit cops try to solve a series of ritualistic murders. Included are ancient Chinese secrets, a strip club where the dancers don't strip, two of the worst mustaches you've ever seen, and of course plenty of Seagal punches (provided you get within his three foot radius)

    - The Way Of The Shadow Wolves: The Deep State And The Hijacking Of America : délire complotiste trumpien proprement halluciné

We're gonna make you an offer you can't refuse: an hour of sinister and stupid tales about mobsters who often make Bugsy Malone look like Don Corleone.  Accompanied by award-winning stand-up comic Rahul Kohli, who mines his own chequered past growing up in Newcastle amongst some haphazard company, we discover why you should never let the mafia put up your Christmas decorations, the Yakuza's charming outreach work and even more evidence for Frank Sinatra being a total shit.

    Under Siege (1992)

    Under Siege (1992)

Everyone has that phase they'd rather not talk about. For some, it's when they wore JNCO jeans. For others, it's when they thought that two-tone ska tattoo was a good idea; or when dating skaters seemed cool.

If the 1990s were a woman, Steven Seagal would be the phase she wishes she could forget.

But we're braver than that, so we're diving into his best work, "Under Siege," to see if there's anything we can salvage from the murky depths of bad action flicks.

Big D, Roger Roeper, and Gene Lyons also cover masturbating to Cher, stealing tags from lingerie, Gary Busey's magnificent insanity, proper bomb-making, proper accent usage, and improper ways to treat young actresses.

Ponytails, a peacetime military, horrid costuming, and the worst Navy Seals since Panama are pitted against hilarious one-liners, charming Tommy Lee Jones, and bizarre fight sequences in this clear "Die Hard" ripoff.

Seagal sucks at fighting, movie posters, and telling the truth, but we can't entirely hate him. Find out why in this swashbuckling edition of Shat the Movies, and stay tuned for a super sexy Shatout from Gene.

Clever Name Podcast #92 - Steven Seagal's Under Siege 2: Dark Territory

Clever Name Podcast #92 - Steven Seagal's Under Siege 2: Dark Territory

Today we watch the movie that moved Steven Seagal to tears it was so good, Under Siege 2: Dark Territory. In this hilarious movie involves former U.S. Navy SEAL Casey Ryback (Steven Seagal) has left the armed forces to lead a quiet life as a chef in Denver. While taking time off from his new job, Ryback decides to go on a scenic train trip with his niece Sarah (Katherine Heigl). When the arrival of evil genius Travis Dane (Eric Bogosian) and an international team of hijackers interrupts their relaxing journey through the majestic Rocky Mountains, Ryback must get involved and save the day.

This maybe the funniest movie we have ever seen and if you have not seen it your missing out on a great time.

    High & Tight

    High & Tight

Hello fans. Episode 251 is a roundhouse kick to the ears. Why do I say that? Because Benny and RZ deliver some high impact information about some martial arts specialists.  Specifically, Jean Claude Van Damme and his greasy southern mullet in Hard Target.  If that ain't enough, they accurately break down Steven Seagal, and his keen ability to walk into a room and break pretty much all the valuables (including arms and nuts). They also talk Celtics/Patriots. Listen to this one.

    Hard to Kill (EP 53)

    Hard to Kill (EP 53)

For The Last Row Podcast's first episode of 2017, Drew and Badway turn to an old friend in Steven Seagal, who IS, in fact, Hard to Kill! We're talking bad stakeout habits, speedy coma recoveries, penis monitors, Seagal’s love-making techniques, and goons in bolo ties. This episode is great, and you can take that to the bank!

How To Be A Successful Comedy Director With Comedy Director Ric Cantor.

Ric Cantor is a director and writer of commercials, television and film. We met on a lark at a Directors Guild Of America conference, and I loved his work and wit so I'm very happy he's on the show. We discuss Steven Seagal, the contractual and creative differences between directing spots in England versus the United States, as well as common trends we've noticed. He also tells how he readies himself for a pitch. And we discuss Director's Cut and how strategically they fit on your reel. Invaluable stuff people.

    thanks,

    Jordan
