    ARPU significa Average Revenue Per User. Esta métrica es muy importante para tu negocio de Software Como Servicio. El ejemplo que voy a dar es sobre un negocio de apps móviles pero también el concepto aplica para negocios con modelo de negocio de Software Como Servicio o SaaS. Es una fórmula matemática simple. Divide lo que ha ganado tu App Móvil ( sumando, ventas dentro de la app, publicidad y todas las formas con las que haya ganado dinero tu app ) por las descargas que ha tenido tu app en por lo menos 1 mes. Vamos a poner un ejemplo. El 1 de Junio del 2013, 1App género: $15,231.02 USD Obtuvo 137,211 descargas Esto nos da un ARPU de $0.111 centavos de dólar por cada usuario que descarga mi App, 1App. Esto quiere decir que ya se cuanto gastar en publicidad para obtener un usuario a mi aplicación y tengo una métrica que me va a estar diciendo constantemente cuanto puedo gastar de publicidad para ser RENTABLE. Tengo que gastar $0.50 centavos de dólar por cada instalación para ganar $0.40 centavos de dólar y así tener un negocio rentable y escalable. Desde ese punto de partida solamente se necesita dinero, para generar más dinero y crear un negocio de millones de dólares al día, como lo hace Candy Crush Saga, Pokémon Go, Tinder, Uber, Airbnb, Snapchat y muchas apps más. Resultado de la Campaña de publicidad de pago de 1App. Al final de cuentas obtuve más de 300,000 descargas, $20,000 dólares en ganancias e invertido en publicidad para apps móviles de Facebook $7,000 dólares. Esto nos da una ganancia neta de $13,000 dólares.
