It's NEVER Too Late! What You Need To Know To Start And Build A Business After 50 With Business Coach Lindsay Pinchuk

It's NEVER Too Late! What You Need To Know To Start And Build A Business After 50 With Business Coach Lindsay Pinchuk

Lindsay Pinchuk was put on my path for a reason and I couldn't be happier. She is a master entrepreneur/founder that is here to give us the confidence to believe that even if we are over 50, it is never too late to start your own business.

    Takeaways:
    1. It is NEVER too late to make a change or to start a new business! It doesn’t matter how old you are.

    2. Look to fill a need or a void for your community or for a brand.

    3. Starting a successful business doesn’t happen overnight. You have to SHOW UP every day.

    4.   The sooner you can put the wheels into motion on something you want to do, the better. Start while you still have financial security. Make a plan and be strategic. A lot of times you have big pieces in place for a new business before you even leave your old career.

    5.  Do one thing a day to forward your business, your idea, your passion project, your side hustle.

    6.  To get clarity ask yourself what do you love? what feels your bucket? Think about how you can build a business out of your passions?

    7.  When starting a business, the first thing you want is to have a flexible blueprint. You need to be able to adapt if things don’t go right. Take inventory of what it’s going to take to  build this business.

    8.  Determine how you going to make money - what are your revenue streams going to be? And what you are operations going to look like?

    9.  Work on branding, but don’t pour a lot of money into it. Pick a name and some colors. There are many free or close to free design apps and sites available online. Buy a domain.

    10.  Talk to financial advisor or planner about legitimizing your business. When you start collecting money money it’s important that you are set up to pay taxes correctly.

    11.  Build your community. You have your personal community of people you choose to be around - Then you have your business community that you trust with business questions and networking.

    12. You want a community over an audience. An audience receives only, but a community offers back and forth communication.

    13. With a legit community, your business becomes the center of the conversation.

    14.  You have to show up as yourself and be totally authentic with your community. People will see right through you if you aren’t.

    15. Be supportive of other women in business. There is no reason to be jealous or stingy with information/resources, there is always ENOUGH to go around. And when you make other women around you successful, that success always comes back to you.
