On Episode 285 of the Seibertron.com Twincast Podcast, things begin with a status update on the latest HasLab crowdfunding project for Victory Saber as well as a potential tier bonus that was mistakenly unveiled. Next, we dive into a large amount of leaks that have surfaced recently, ranging from an exclusive Velocitron line to new vintage Beast Wars reissues, to more R.E.D figures and even more. Target's latest Red Card Exclusive Road Rage was unveiled as well as Draculus, a new Transformers collaboration with Universal Monsters, and we give our impressions on these new toys. We continue our "Classics Retrospective" with a look back on 2011 and some of 2012's releases. Reveal the Shield and the initial Generations line started to wrap up and Japan's United line was gearing up. Exclusives like the Targetmaster Microns, Million Publishing Stepper and clear three-packs were on our radars and Botcon 2012 gave us a small sample of Classic goodness. Q: Bill, I got a question about setting your Mach3 acceleration and Velocity setting in Mach3. I also wondered if the A axis and the Y axis settings have to be exactly the same?

How we do it:
In Mach3 you need to calibrate the AXIS Steps per Unit. To do this go to the settings tab (page) and look for a button located above the Reset Button which says âSet Steps Per Unitâ. Use this button to enter a distance to travel. Measure the actual distance traveled then enter the corrections.

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign where we raised nearly 4000€ to press a new vinyl LP, it was kinda obvious to balance our karma and offer a new mix in our series of eclectic selections of free tunes found on the web. So, what's the best way to start a mix or a compilation? A Brownout tune, of course! We've found a rare Rock-Funk-Latin-Psych cover of The Beatles by our friends from the Paris-Austin Connection, this just perfect. What else? Well there's plenty more… starting with onljoe, a dub/reggae act from the UK we discovered thanks to the Ghostwriterz guest mix last november, and a dub from their latest (free) single by pioneering UK dub producer/selector Nick Manasseh. More dub vibes are next with melodica specialist Art-X from Tours, France, soon followed by an extract from the latest Grant Phabao free EP, featuring Jamaican deejay Reggie Stepper - marvelous and with great dynamics! We then head towards South America, with the addictive Brazilian hip hop/folk from Lucas Santtana, trippy psychedelic cumbia from Bareto in Lima, Peru, and a cool remix of Seu Jorge by Captain Planet… before going geographically nuts in a La Sono Mondiale manner, with some afrobeat recorded in one day in Cologne, Germany by Shareholder Tom, with Los Angeles-based rapper Malkovich voicing the famous 'Make It Fast Make It Slow' from late 70s Ghanean artist Rob, with mashups of Orgone with Jay-Z or Rjd2 with Common!! Pfffeeeww what a trip. Third and final part of the mix is more roots, with some organ funk from Soule Monde, American soul from Monophonics, UK folk jazz from Sara Mitra and, to close this selection on a light note, some loveable pop/folk from Nashville combo Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors. Every one of those tunes is available separately on the web (check the links in the tracklisting), because some of the best things in life are free, right?
