You will also be introduced to upcoming Ultraman Canada 2021 participant Chad Bentley. Chad is a well-respected plant-based endurance athlete.  He is a marathoner, Ultra-marathoner, multi-time Ironman finisher, 2-time Ultraman finisher, 2-time Ultra 520 finisher, and the first Canadian to compete in the EPIC 5 Challenge.

2020 Hyundai Palisade, Toyota and Pony.ai

2020 Hyundai Palisade, Toyota and Pony.ai

Host Tom Appel and co-host Damon Bell start the show by discussing Toyota's recent $400-million investment in Chinese autonomous-mobility company Pony.ai, and the broader trend of established automakers forming partnerships with startup self-driving-vehicle development firms. Chicago radio legends Steve King and Johnnie Putman join us in-studio to talk about their test drive of the new-for-2020 Hyundai Palisade SUV and fill us in on their book "A Little More Les," which chronicles their long friendship with electric-guitar pioneer Les Paul. Tom administers another one of his Consumer Guide Power Quizzes--this time on best-selling vehicles--and Damon gives a run-down of the articles posted this week on The Daily Drive blog (including a test-drive review of the new-for-2020 Cadillac XT6 and a gallery of compact "woodie" wagons). We wrap up the show by sharing our "ones that got away"--cars from our past we wish we still owned.

TMR 228 : Gerry et al & Richard Gage : Update on 9/11 Research & Activism

TMR 228 : Gerry et al & Richard Gage : Update on 9/11 Research & Activism
We are joined by Gerry, David and "Hitstirrer", members of the informal engineering research group "The 9/11 Accountability Team"—with links to Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth—for a (rather unconventional) roundtable discussion on their ongoing research. Back in 2018, as many listeners will recall, we decided to shelve a conversation with Gerry, because the group feared that the interview might have compromised chances of receiving from NIST—US National Institute of Standards and Technology—key structural drawing books on the Twin Towers via FOIA request. Now, the bulk of data having been received, they join us to share some of their concerns about NIST's version of events. Later in the conversation we are joined once again by Richard Gage, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, for an update on their work and discussion on the important scientific study by Dr. J. LeRoy Hulsey and his team at the University of Alaska Fairbanks on the collapse of Building 7. For show notes please visit https://themindrenewed.com
