    Curiosity (Always Learning)

    Curiosity (Always Learning)

As the saying goes… Curiosity killed the cat. While that may be true, curiosity is what fuels our creativity more than anything else. We talk about what type of students we were (and probably still are) and how that's impacted our lives, whether subtitles are good or bad, nicole's sleep complex, reading (and what things we like to read), our fears of memory loss, and how we stay curious.

Delhi Belly | Has It Aged Well?

Delhi Belly | Has It Aged Well?

This week on 'Has It Aged Well?' we take a gastronomical journey back to 2011 to discuss the comic caper 'Delhi Belly' starring Imran Khan, Kunal Roy Kapur and Vir Das, directed by Abhibay Deo and written by Akshat Verma. Joining Abbas and Urjita is returning guest Karan Mirchandani riding high on his recently acquired 'influencer' status. Topics discussed include: The use of Hinglish in the film and why we didn't get more films like this, Is this an authentic Delhi movie? Does the film tell us men are disgusting? The genius of Vijay Raaz, the Easter eggs to other films and music and more. PSA: Given the nature of the film there is some literal shit talk between the three panelists so it's best to maybe NOT listen to this while having dinner.

We discuss resources for news on the topic and accessible hardware and software reviews, how important it is to learn from the existing accessible gaming community, a wide variety of crucial accessibility features, and noteworthy ways developers have built accessibility into the design of their games. 146. Survival: Today, Tomorrow part 1

The Icelandic language has remained so stable over the centuries, speakers can read manuscripts from 900 years ago without too much trouble. And when they need a new word for more recent concepts, there are committees to coin one, so that the modern Icelandic lexicon includes such things as the internet, helicopters and mansplaining. Defending the language from the encroachment of English, however, is rather more challenging.
