Now that we’ve made that clear, let’s dig into this episode's theme.

In this week’s deep dive episode, we venture into the intricate web of emotions and perceptions tangled up with the ideas of acceptance and rejection. On the surface, acceptance seems like a warm embrace, while rejection can feel like a sharp sting. But as we dive deeper, we realize these two concepts are not only more delicate and intricate than they appear, but they’re also interconnected in complex ways. 

These concepts are fundamental parts of our daily experiences and the choices we make. Sometimes they seem inconsequential, but other times they're like mighty sagas that dramatically alter our spirit. Acceptance and rejection can fully alter the way we view ourselves and each other. They can dictate our outlooks, shape our expectations, and transform the way we interact with the world.

Separately and together, these are experiences that forge tremendous amounts of resilience, strength and growth within us. Acceptance is not always a gentle sanctuary. Rejection is not always a merciless life sentence. They represent a specific kind of duality, but they're not always so black and white either. What might seem like two sides of the same coin could actually be more prismatic than you think.

Where in our lives are we invited to consciously cultivate love when historically we haven’t received love or we never thought we needed love? What have you accepted as something you don’t need or or as something you don’t want, simply because you’ve never had it or simply because you’ve never seen examples of how desiring it work out well?

It's a potent time to bring awareness to our relationship to the Venusian and to bring Solar support to illuminate patterns that needed tending.

-Venus Retro has an 8 year cycle, so the last time the Retro was in Leo was the summer of 2015

Emotional availability is a crucial aspect of building meaningful relationships, where vulnerability and openness intertwine. While it's important to know your boundaries and when you have adequate space to hold for others, frequent emotional UNavailability can create barriers, hinder genuine connections, and leave people feeling isolated. Human behavior is complex, and you don't always have to be available for others - not even your best friends or family - but if you consistently shut out other people from expressing their emotions, the implications can be devastating.

From June 2023-December 2023 we will experience 6 planetary retrogrades which is more than 1/2 the planets in our Solar system and Zodiac Universe reversing direction, forcing us to retrace our steps and rethink our lives. 

When planets travel retrograde it’s a good time to practice the “RE” words, related to the archetypal energies of a specific planet.  For example, when Venus is retrograde, it is a good time to look at your relationship life and past patterns that are not healthy, Sometimes ex’s will show up or try to contact us. Reviewing past relationships and realizing what are patterns are in partnership, such as co-dependence, etc which are not healthy for future connections.

During planetary retrogrades we implement all those RE words such as  Review, Revisit, re-assess, re-establish, reunite, reconnect, research, re-alize. Retrogrades may not be the best times to begin something new, but they can be good for tying up loose ends or giving a waylaid project a second chance to succeed.

Here are the retrograde cycles from June-December 2023: in chronological order  - At the time of this podcast release, we are already experiencing two of the six planetary retrogrades .  Pluto has been retrograde in Capricorn since May 1st, 2023. Here are the dates in Eastern US time.

Pluto Retrograde: May 1 to October 11, Pluto was retrograde in Aquarius from May 1- June 11, and is retrograde in Capricorn from June 11-October 10, 2023

Saturn Retrograde in Pisces from: June 17 – November 4

Neptune Retrograde in Pisces: June 30 – December 6

Venus Retrograde in Leo: July 22 – September 3

Mercury Retrograde in Virgo: August 23 – September 15

Uranus Retrograde in Taurus: August 28 – January 27, 2024

Jupiter Retrograde in Taurus: September 4 – December 30

Mercury is conjunct Uranus at the full moon, spewing out information, revealing secrets, and acting impishly impulsive. Venus leaps into Leo two days after the Full Moon on June 5, seeking attention all summer-long with an extended vacation in the lair of the luxurious Lion. Saturn goes retrograde in Pisces on June 17. Cosmic taskmaster takes toll through October collecting karmic debts while swimming through the subconscious seaweed of Piscean pools and ponds, purging patterns and clearing the collective consciousness.

Jupiter in Taurus is conjunct the transiting North Node in early June, considered malefic in Vedic Astrology.  Jupiter is the Guru and the North Node is called Rahu, the head of the demon in Vedic Astrology.  So, the Demon is swallowing the Guru.  Watch out for distorted information, or feeling that things are out of control, or are being over-exaggerated or people are acting over the top, and blowing things out of proportion.  This gets exasperated at the the Full Moon on June 3rd.

FULL MOON with Moon in Sagittarius and Sun in Gemini occurs on June 3, which is the communication axis in Astrology. This Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and sense of adventure. The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 13 degrees Sagittarius is: “A WIDOW'S PAST BROUGHT TO LIGHT.”
KEYNOTE: The karma of past actions as it affects opportunities presented by a new cycle. This is a symbol of RETRIBUTION. 

Venus vibrates into the Love Light of Leo for a summer of romance, recreation and creativity on June 5. Get ready for an extended Venusian visit in the Leo lair of flirtation , frolic and fun lasting until October 9, 2023, due to a retrograde cycle in Leo. 

Saturn retrogrades in Pisces from June 3- November 4, 2023.  This will give us time to reflect on what has flowed into your life since March. This episode is on the Powerful Violet Flame Meditation which begins at 13 minutes into the episode.  For the first 13 minutes, Jill explains the significance of the Violet Flame and St. Germain.

Also called the “Flame of Transmutation,” the “Flame of Mercy,” the “Flame of Freedom,” and the “Flame of Forgiveness,” the Violet Flame is a sacred fire that transforms and purifies negative “karma” or blockages.

The violet flame is a powerful symbol and form of imagery that can be used as a catalyst for our spiritual journeys. The reason for this is that it creates the space necessary for healing any soul blockages.

St. Germain is an ascended Master. Ascended Masters are spiritual beings or guides who have ascended to the Higher Dimensions to assist Humanity’s evolution from the higher spheres or lokas. They have incarnated on earth previously and now exist in higher realms to help humans. Jesus Christ, Buddha and Krishna are all considered ascended Masters. According to Theosophy and other esoteric spiritual teachings, such as those taught by the late Elizabeth Clare Prophet, there are seven Ascended Masters responsible for the Seven Rays of Evolution, or the Seven Paths to God. According to Elizabeth Clare Prophet “The Seven Color rays are the natural division of the pure white light emanating from the heart of God as it descends through the prism of manifestation. The Seven Rays present seven paths to individual or personal spiritual evolution.  Seven masters have mastered identity by walking these paths.  These seven masters are called the Chohans of the rays, which mean lord of the rays.  Chohan  is a Sanskrit term for lord.

ST. GERMAIN, the Chohan of the 7th Ray, is the Ascended Master of the Aquarian Age. 7th Ray rules freedom, mercy transmutation and ritual.  The pulsations of the violet flame can be felt from his retreat of the House of Rakocsy and Transylvania and from the Cave of Symbols in the United States.  

St. Germain had many Earthly incarnations including Merlin, the famed magician of Arthurian times in the 5th century, Roger Bacon, Christopher Columbus and Francis Bacon. He was best known as the“le Comte de Saint Germain,” a miraculous gentleman who dazzled the courts of 18th and 19th century Europe, where they called him “The Wonderman.” In that incarnation he was an alchemist, scholar, linguist, poet, musician, and diplomat admired throughout the courts of Europe.

What questions are most relevant to us in 2023, given its astrology? How do we come into right relationship with astrological insights about the future? What do we need to consider when crafting intentions and resolutions for the coming year?

I'm giddy with excitement to share this conversation with my mentor Diana Rose Harper. Diana's approach to astrology is poetic and expansive, while also visceral and thought-provoking. It feels like a true gift to share our conversation about the major astrological transits of 2023 (spoiler alert: there are quite a few!).

We discussed the topics of how to approach astrological transits as well as New Year resolutions and intentions, what health entails, and honoring our humanity, while also understanding our place in the greater web of life.

We also explored the astrology of 2023 by way of its seismic signatures: Mars and Mercury retrogrades at the start of the year, Saturn in Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius, the nodes shifting into Aries-Libra axis, Mercury retrogrades in earth signs, and Venus retrograde in Leo.

What do the major planetary retrogrades during June-December 2022 mean for you? Listen up because you will be personally affected if a major planet is retrograding in your sign. 

When planets travel retrograde it’s a good time to practice the “RE” words, related to the archetypal energies of a specific planet.  For example, when Venus is retrograde, it is a good time to look at your relationship life and past patterns that are not healthy, Sometimes ex’s will show up or try to contact us. Reviewing past relationships and realizing what are patterns are in partnership, such as co-dependence, etc which are not healthy for future connections.

So during planetary retrogrades we implement all those RE words such as  Review, Revisit, re-assess, re-establish, reunite, reconnect, research, re-alize. Retrogrades may not be the best times to begin something new, but they can be good for tying up loose ends or giving a waylaid project a second chance to succeed.

Pluto Retrogrades from April 29- October 8, 2022, in the sign Capricorn.  It goes direct on October 8th at 5:56 pm EDT.  Capricorns and Scorpios are impacted during Pluto retrograde and specifically around the time it goes direct. 

SATURN RETROGRADES in Aquarius from June 4 - October 23, 2022. Saturn stations direct on October 23rd at 12:07 am.  Aquarians and Capricorns will feel this transit stronger than most, and also need to be alert around the time Saturn stations direct on October 23rd.  Saturn is considered the karmic lord in astrology, so sometimes we can see karma come home to roost during it’s retrograde. 

NEPTUNE RETROGRADE IN PISCES:  June 28-December 3, 2022Pisceans are impacted by this Neptune retrograde cycle and especially when it transits direct on December 3, 2022. When Neptune goes retrograde it helps to integrate our dreams and visions.  We will find out where we have deluded ourselves.  

JUPITER RETROGRADE: from July 28-November 23rd.  Retrograde in Aries from July 28-October 29, Retrograde in Pisces from October 29-November 23.Sagitarrians, Aries and Pisces are impacted by this retrograde cycle. When Jupiter travels retrograde we will see shifts in religions and governments.  So under Jupiter retrograde we can see revisions made in government policies, and reversals in abuses of those in power and religious leaders or cults. There can be revelations of abuses by church leaders or government leaders. 

URANUS RETROGRADE in Taurus from August 24, 2022-January 22, 2023
This retrograde cycle affects Taureans and Aquarians.  Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius. Uranus is the great awakener and when he goes retrograde this is a time of integration.  Usually there are recent revelations or shifts in consciousness right before Uranus transits retrograde. Uranus will bring breakthroughs and breakdowns.  

MERCURY RETROGRADE for the 3rd time in 2022 from September 9-October 2nd so basically most of September 2022.
Mercury will be retrograde in Libra from September 9-September 23rd, then retrograde in Virgo from September 23-October 2nd.  Libras will be affected, as will Gemini and especially Virgo, the signs that Mercury rules.  Virgos will get a double whammy because Mercury is their rulling planet and is going retrograde in their sign.
