Tiffany said one thing that stood out in this interview more than anything:

As someone who is primarily responsible for firm growth and leading a talented team at Destiny Capital in the areas of business development, client experience, professional relationships, specialty markets, and marketing ,Tiffany gives advice on how to create a culture in your team that people want to be a part of.

With 13 years of experience in the financial services industry and another 5 in commercial real estate, Tiffany has planned for many forms of success, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation. In addition to her work at Destiny Capital, Tiffany is also a well-respected coach and leader in the financial service industry.

How to overcome doubt with belief

How to overcome doubt with belief

Do you ever find yourself crippled with doubt? Unable to make a decision or move forward because you can't muster the courage?

If this is true for you, please have some compassion for yourself.

Doubt is a massive tether. It's a strong protective mechanism, intended to keep you from things that could hurt you. The problem is, doubt is often not as necessary as it thinks it is.

So, how do you conquer doubt?

When faced with doubt while trying to move forward or manifest something into their lives, people will often default to "hoping it will happen."

    This does not work.

Hope does have enough gusto to yank the tether of doubt. It's like trying to lift a basket with a single birthday balloon. So, what  WILL yank the tether of doubt up and out of the ground? BELIEF.

The shift that  happens in the human body when we switch from the disempowered feeling of hope to full-bodied belief is one of the most powerful things on Earth. Belief is like a giant hot air balloon that will lift you up into the sky, soaring to uncharted and amazing places.

So, next time you're beginning to doubt that there's something you can do, have, or manifest - remember that hope is not the answer.

When it comes to conquering doubt, belief is the way.

Try the Feeling Belief exercise from this episode:

    1. Think of something you want
    2. Imagine what it will feel like to have that thing
    3. Notice the feelings you feel in your body when you feel it
    4. Allow yourself to really feel those feelings
    5. Repeat regularly!

Getting untethered with hypnotherapy – with Tarla Makaeff

Getting untethered with hypnotherapy – with Tarla Makaeff

Have you ever tried hypnotherapy? Are you curious about it, or maybe even a bit wary of it?

For many reasons, including that "wary" feeling many folks have about hypnosis, I'm super excited to have an expert come on the podcast to speak about this final piece of the Untethered Practices series.

Welcome back to the podcast life coach and certified hypnotherapist, Tarla Makaeff, who has allowed me to dive deep with her on an "ask me anything, hypnotherapy." In this episode, she shares what hypnotherapy is, why someone might use it, how it's done, and when it can be supportive. She also takes time to candidly break down some of the misconceptions about hypnotherapy.

As for my own hypno experience, I've personally leveraged this practice in my own untethering journey, and it has helped me delve into my subconscious and reprogram some old beliefs and behaviors that were not coherent with my current and conscious values, motivations, and beliefs. Like all the other practices discussed in this series, I'm an advocate for reaching out to an expert who can guide you through it – if and when it feels supportive to you.

Would love to hear if you've tried hypnotherapy, and what you think about it if you have! My email and social links are below.

To learn more about Tarla and her self-love coaching, you can listen to Season 3, episode 22 where she shares more about her passion for supporting women in business.

    Meet Tarla Makaeff
Tarla Makaeff, the Copy Queen and founder of the Iconic Copy course, is a published author, digital course creator, online business and life coach, and certified hypnotherapist, who helps creative, heart centered women start their own purpose filled business online and scale their brand with copy that converts. She’s helping hundreds of entrepreneurs craft their business strategy and messaging for ultimate growth, while increasing their self-love along the way.

She has been featured in numerous online publications including LA Weekly, New York Weekly, Bloomberg, Influencive, Influencer Daily, and more.

Before starting her online business, she worked in marketing agencies writing for Hollywood studios and Fortune 500 companies which led to her meteoric rise as a 7 figure freelance copywriter. Her mission is to empower women to go after their wildest dreams and become forces in this world so they can make the impact they desire. She lives in Los Angeles with her two beloved puggles, Bentley and Jaden.
