    • Raising a child alone during football seasonDespite the challenges of being a stay-at-home mom, the speaker cherished the bond with her son and emphasized the importance of support systems.

      Being a stay-at-home mom is a challenging and mentally draining experience, despite the common misconception that it's a glamorous or easy lifestyle. The speaker shared her personal experience of raising her first child almost single-handedly during football season while her ex was away for practice, feeling exhausted and uncertain but cherishing the bond she formed with her son. She later acknowledged the importance of having help and the mental relief it brought, but since her divorce, she has been managing on her own. • Balancing Reality and Reality TVFocus on priorities, separate work and personal life, and prioritize family happiness to maintain a balanced life.

      Reality TV may not accurately represent people's lives and the speaker values maintaining a balanced life between work, motherhood, and personal relationships. The speaker has chosen to focus on her children and prioritize her time with them, opting against reality shows and prioritizing her current work-life balance. Additionally, the speaker shares her experiences with dating as a single mother and the importance of prioritizing her children's needs and happiness. • Navigating the complexities of fame and relationshipsDespite the allure of fame, the speaker values the simplicity and support of non-famous relationships. She is hesitant about having another child due to the challenges of raising young kids and the physical demands of pregnancy and breastfeeding, but is open to the possibility with a new partner.

      Fame comes with its own set of complexities, including insecurities and a desire for validation. The speaker, who has dated both famous and non-famous individuals, prefers the latter and is unsure about having another child due to the challenges of raising young children and the physical demands of pregnancy and breastfeeding. She is open to the possibility of having another child with a new partner but is hesitant due to her age and the fact that her current children are old enough to help out. The speaker is confident that she will get married again and believes that her second marriage will be forever. Contrary to popular belief, she does not come from a wealthy background and has built her business, Uncommon James, through her own hard work and savings.

    • Empowerment through Financial IndependenceBuilding financial independence is essential for women to feel empowered and avoid feeling trapped in relationships. Earning one's own money fosters self-worth and freedom.

The speaker emphasizes that happiness and fulfillment come from finding what works best for you, rather than adhering to societal norms or expectations. She also shares her personal experiences, including the importance of chemistry and feelings, and the significance of making your own choices based on what feels right for you. Ultimately, the speaker encourages listeners to prioritize their own happiness and well-being, and to approach relationships with authenticity and openness.

Heston now lives in Sydney where he works as the Chief Partnerships & Strategy Officer for the Veteran’s Charity Swiss8.org, and as the co-owner of Holism Health in Kings Cross.

    In this episode we dive into;

    • COMMUNITY and why having those around you that will call you forward, keep you authentic and challenge you is the most important ingredient in moving through life with authenticity and integrity.
    • DECLUTTERING life by letting go of the layers and extrinsic motivators and connect back to your core, create the frameworks you need to catch you before you fall to enable you to be confidently who you are.
    • Authenticity, vulnerability and why being yourself is actually what you crave and what the world needs more of.
