S10 Ep 436 Ad Hoc Drivel: One Belter Of An Episode!
It’s a sticky start to the episode as the guys have nothing to talk about. So they have a try at anything they can think of - from playing Pictionary and checking the charts, to reading out dodgy limericks and reminding themselves of the 90’s TV show Win Lose Or Draw. Then talk turns to celebrities they’ve met earlier in life, like Natalie Imbruglia and Daley Thompson. Which sparks off a whole lot of reminiscing about shitty old jobs. Plus, David closes the show by singing a whole James Blunt song - Chatabix drivel at its finest! S10 Ep 432 Ad Hoc Drivel: Insta Live Podding & Rollercoaster Club
To kick off the show, Joe tries to trick David by being on a Insta Live at the same time as recording the pod. That soon falls flat though as David knew anyway. In spite of their discomfort at being ‘live’, they plough on regardless and let’s just say, things don’t go smoothly. But then they get one of the viewers to join them who saves the days with some wonderful words of encouragement - thanks Emma! Then Joe tells David about his magical day at the ceremony to award Sue Johnston the Freedom Of The City Of Liverpool and also explains why he’s not going to Thorpe Park today to ride the rollercoasters. David then puts a call-out to the Patreons to see who’s been on The Tower Of Power waterslide in Tenerife. After a short wait there are plenty of Chatabiscuits joining them - so let the rollercoaster club commence! S10 Ep 428 Ad Hoc Drivel: David’s 120 Mile Walk

S10 Ep 428 Ad Hoc Drivel: David’s 120 Mile Walk
David’s just booked his 120 mile walk across Dartmoor and Exmoor, so there’s plenty for him to discuss. But first he wants to know why Joe isn’t swimming anymore and things get a little tense. Then Joe has to help Petra with her car, so David outlines his walking route for us while he waits for Joe to return. The conversation then soon gets back on track and David comes up with a plan for Joe to do the same walk in reveres and meet him halfway. David reckons it’d be great to record it all for the pod, but Joe gonna need some convincing about that. Plus, they finish things off with a long overdue look at the charts and invent a spur of the moment quiz about them too.
