    Podcast Summary

    • Reflecting on Lessons Learned from the Past YearTake time for reflection and self-care to face each day positively and resiliently, including using an eye mask, diffusing lavender oil, and listening to guided sleep.

The past year has brought about significant changes in various aspects of our lives, and these changes have taught us valuable lessons that we can carry forward. The way we work, prioritize, and interact have all shifted, and we've learned to adapt. Some things we may miss, but there are also things we've discovered about ourselves that we will hold onto. Reflecting on these lessons can provide a sense of normalcy and help us prepare for the future. A simple yet effective self-care routine, such as using an eye mask, diffusing lavender oil, and listening to guided sleep, can also improve sleep quality. By taking time for reflection and self-care, we can face each new day with positivity and resilience.

Episode 78: Falling in Love with Repetition

Episode 78: Falling in Love with Repetition

Last week we talked about the value and importance of creating routines, and today we took that discussion to the next level in talking about having a big, bodacious goal/dream and creating a “Now Goal” that becomes the central focus of your morning routine and throughout your day!

Lisa shared how she has been re-invigorated to write her Now-Goal 50 times a day!  This is not an academic to-do but more of a calming form of meditation which in turn energized her.  Writing her goals 50 times a day has become not a burden but something she looks forward to doing every day.  She has fallen in love with repetition and the idea of expanding her thinking and stretching her faith to believe for things that are far beyond what she has done in the past.  Auto-suggestion is when our conscious brain is suggesting a habit, routine, belief, etc. to our subconscious brain through repetition!

Ladies, don’t settle for mere existence!  The world needs you to rise up and live your life with passion and purpose.  Your potential is limitless!  Don’t wait!  Your time to “wake up” to your passions and desires is now!  And we are here to help you do just that!

Help us spread the word so we can inspire more women to “wake up and dream.”  Give us a “shout out” on your social media platforms!  Thank you!  Drop us a message, LIKE, SHARE, and leave us a review!  Follow us on Instagram @wakeupanddreampodcast and be sure to join us in our new, free, and fabulous Facebook group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/wakeupanddream/

Parenting during COVID has been a serious challenge. My dear friend, Stephanie Crider, shares what it was like to have her youngest's senior year come to a complete halt when COVID hit in 2020. She authentically opens up about how she, her husband and her son walked the journey together and yet, also separately. Resilience and expectation management played a major role in where they are today.
