    Podcast Summary

    • Reflect on what you have, even when it seems like nothingFocus on the positive and find gratitude in your life, even during difficult times, by reflecting on what you have.

Key takeaway from today's journal prompt inspired by Nina Simone's song "Ain't Got No, I Got Life," is that even when we feel like we have nothing, there are always things in our lives that we can be grateful for and that nobody can take away from us. The first part of the song lists all the things the singer doesn't have, but then it takes a u-turn and lists all the things she does have. The prompt encourages us to do the same – to write down the things we have, no matter how small they may seem. This exercise can help us focus on the positive and find gratitude in our lives, even during difficult times. So, take some time today to reflect on what you have and write it down. You might be surprised by how much you really do have. And if you're having trouble sleeping, check out Kate Cocker's guided sleep skill on Amazon Echo. She can help you focus on getting a good night's rest. Remember, you always have something to be grateful for, and that's a powerful reminder to carry with you every day.
