Yes we are giving to you a bonus Jonas (well kinda) Disney Deviation (of the highest order) because this week we watched Where the Crawdads Sing! We were famously divided in our praise and criticisms of the book. Ready to find out where we fall on the movie? *Hint: check Rotten Tomatoes* But to find out our reasons why listen to this week's episode of DIsney Deviants - Where the Crawdads Sing!

This is possibly the realest movie Disney Channel has ever made. And we aren't just referring to the fact that it is based on a true story. Disney really gave us a lesson in apartheid, blatant racism, and iconic 70s looks. TBH, we're not sure which if those was the most beneficial.  T

Oh we can't stop singing about our triumphant return to Disney Deviants with Teen Beach Movie starring Ross Lynch, Maia Mitchell, Garrett Clayton and Grace Phipps!

This week we are joined by an extra special guest Chidera Nwoko (@chideranwoko on instagram) to discuss the many questions we had with this one. And trust us, there are LOTS of questions! But one thing for certain, these songs are a banger. Oh Disney, when can we get back to this, huh?

That's right! We watched Up, Up and Away this week and it brought us both some black girl joy as we rested up!

That's right, we watched the final(?) installment of The Descendants DCOM series, Descendants 3, starring, Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce (R.I.P.) and Booboo Stewart. And we had so many questions (and very few answers) like:

1. How'd your budget get bigger and then wigs got worse?
2. Are these 4 leads even friends?
3. What is the point of Jay's character?
4. IS THAT WORLD RENOWNED CHOREOGRAPHER JAMAL SIMS???
5. And last but not least, You popped off on the choreo Kenny!!!

A multiverse movie that does not involve Marvel, encompasses all genres, and focuses on the healing of familial trauma through mother-daughter relationships? Sign us up!

That's horse for "Whoa is it already time for another Disney Deviants episode?" If you haven't guessed already, we watched the critically acclaimed Horse Sense starring every single member of the Lawrence Brothers dynasty. (Joey, Andrew and Matt) And yes we are counting Matt's cameo as *reads note* Cowboy in Airport.

This movie is as close to DCOM Western as we're ever going to get, and has us asking ourselves, "Are we sure this is a Disney Channel Original Movie?" The scenery is delectable, the acting is on point, and the horses are wild (in every sense of the word)! So what didn't we like about the movie? You're gonna have to listen to find out!

That's right! This week we watched A Christmas Dance Reunion starring Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu! Wwe are down an Adaeze (we miss you very very much!) and up a Jessica Money! Yes, you heard that right! Jessica Money makes her triumphant return to the podcast for another fun holiday movie. We just wish it could have lived up to the heights of Jingle Jangle.

On this Thanksgiving Eve we are thankful for you listeners who embrace our chaotic content and nature! And we are also thankful for Brittney Spears because Oops we did it again! We watched two different movies, but we did not let it derail our release this week and for that, we are truly thankful!

Tiffany Paulsen (Writer of Holidate) makes her second appearance on the podcast with our next DCOM, Adventures in Babysitting, the 2016 remake of the 1987 classic! And she is truly a giver when it comes to giving us content that we could talk about for HOURS!

The spirit of Home Alone was with this one, but the execution, was, shall we say.....lacking? With Disney Channel heavy hitters Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter at the helmet, anything could happen, and everything did!
