Tom and Biz had to ask, "Coach, What Happen?" After two road conference losses, where we saw our Eagles only drop 48 points a pieces in games versus Catholic and then Drew, hope is far from lost. The team has gotta find a way to bounce back and attack the last 6 conference games with the most intensity they have had all season. It all starts this Wednesday night when the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College roll into the BLUE-OUT. That's right #JuniataNation, we need you loud and we need you in all BLUE Wednesday night to push get the boys back on track. And as an added bonus, you finally get to hear why they call him Biz. It has been an outstanding stretch of basketball for the Juniata Eagles. Nine game winning streak, including 5 straight conference wins with two this past week. The first win came Wednesday vs Susquehanna 66-53  – which oddly enough was the exact same score as the eTown game at the Palestra – and then 71-65 on Saturday vs Scranton. It begs the question, what exactly is in the water up there, Coach Curley?

Buckle up listeners this is going to be far from a regular show. We took the #1 D3 podcast on the road this week to the historic Palestra in Philadelphia , PA. The following are excerpts from the day starting at an outstanding pre-game happy hour at the Misconduct Tavern before we headed into the arena to capture a little of the game vibe. We wrap things up with some fun post-game interviews with Coach Curley, Juniata starting point guard, Mason Hardy and Landmark Conference Commissioner, Katie Boldvich.  The audio may be a little crazy at times… we were in a jam packed bar and later live at the Palestra but if you are a big Juniata Basketball fan, it will all be well worth it.
