    Christmas Vacation

    Christmas Vacation

Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're going to give you the hap-hap-happiest Christmas Podcast episode since Culture Shocked's Christmas episode last year!

It was bound to happen. Over two years worth of content, the guys would eventually get together to discuss one of Corey's most hated movies. So the guys unofficially started a series that they've talked about for a while where Corey goes back and watches movies he once hated or loved and sees if they still hold up. Naturally that's the main question here, did Corey end up loving it, or does he still hate it with a passion?

Why are there so many movies with Cat violence in them and why is Mike strangely comfortable with it? Why is Adrian so upset at Corey? Click here to find out!

The Reel Problems with Christmas Vacation

The Reel Problems with Christmas Vacation

Tis the season for another Griswald family Christmas.  National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation has become an annual rewatch for many filmgoers, but not everything went as smoothly as planned during the production.  This episode cuts through those problems like a chainsaw cutting down a Christmas tree.

    1989 - National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

It's the festive season once more and we at That's Hindsight need very little excuse to put on a Christmas film, going all the way back to the 80's again to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!

Plug in those Christmas lights and set fire to that tree as we mull over magazine freebies, loft squatting and some rather unfairly treated neighbours (subject to opinion of course!)

2nd Chance Month: Dumb and Dumber (1994) / Top Most Quotable Movies

2nd Chance Month: Dumb and Dumber (1994) / Top Most Quotable Movies

Giff's 2nd Chance is from 1994, what he describes as minute-for-minute the funniest movie ever: Dumb and Dumber. Jim Carrey was on a roll in 1994 and Jeff Daniels stepped out of his usual style to create a comedy classic. It's also the movie that got the Farrelly brothers off and running to dominate comedy in the 90s.

In our minds, this is also one of the most quotable movies ever, which will be obvious as we take you through it. So to cap off the episode, we draft our favorite most quotable movies. You'll hear some of the classics like Caddyshack and Christmas Vacation and some that have made it into the everyday lexicon like Forrest Gump. What do you like to quote? Did it make our list? Listen and find out!

    A Scrooged Christmas Vacation

    A Scrooged Christmas Vacation

This ain't no trip to Lapland, and it's not your moms plum pudding. And it's most certainly not a hallucination brought on by Russian vodka poisoned by Chernobyl! What it is, is a Yuletide celebration to rival any stocking stuffer you're sure receive.

Let us never forget the sentiments of Frank Cross at this time of year. The most magical moment for humanity. Yule love it!

It's Christmas time in Hollis Queens, mom's cooking chicken.....oops, wrong miracle monologue.

It's Christmas Eve! It's the one night of the year when we all act a little nicer, we smile a little easier, we cheer a little more. For a couple of hours out of the whole year, we are the people that we always hoped we would be. It's really a sort of a miracle, because it happens every Christmas Eve. And if you waste that miracle, you're gonna burn for it, I know what I am talking about. You have to do something. You have to take a chance. You do have to get involved. There are people that are having trouble making their miracle happen. There are people that don't have enough to eat, or people that are cold. You can go out and say hello to these people. You can take an old blanket out of the closet and say "Here!", you can make them a sandwich and say "Oh, by the way, here!" I get it now! And if you give, then it can happen, then the miracle can happen to you! It's not just the poor and the hungry, it's everybody's who's gotta have this miracle! And it can happen tonight for all of you! If you believe in this spirit thing, the miracle will happen and then you'll want it to happen again tomorrow. You won't be one of these bastards who says "Christmas is once a year and it's a fraud", it's NOT! It can happen every day, you've just got to want that feeling. And if you like it and you want it, you'll get greedy for it! You'll want it every day of your life and it can happen to you! I believe in it now! I believe it's going to happen to me now! I'm ready for it! And it's great. It's a good feeling, it's really better than I've felt in a long time. I'm ready. Have a Merry Christmas, everybody.

    Shitter's full.
