You may have been saddened to hear about singer Sabrina Carpenter recently releasing a very inappropriate music video. It's important to be aware that the video for her song "Feather" is something your kids should stay away from.

Timmerie discusses the controversial music video and criticizes the video for its desecration of a Catholic church and its portrayal of toxic themes. She describes the video's storyline, which involves Sabrina Carpenter attending a funeral for men who fought over her and includes a scene where she kills a man for taking her photo without consent.

Timmerie expresses her shock and disapproval of the content, mentioning how it promotes negative traits like vengeance, manipulation, and self-centeredness. She contrasts these with virtues such as humility, forgiveness, and charity, encouraging young women to embrace these positive values. Timmerie stresses the importance of using one's beauty and femininity for good, establishing healthy boundaries, and engaging in acts of charity and humility.

Don't give up hope! Be sure to pray for Sabrina's conversion and for young women to pursue virtue in today's toxic culture.

However, too often, the verses are ripped away from their original passages,  taken out of context, and misused. They become man-centered instead of God-centered. They glorify man instead of God. We have reached chapter 4 of the Book of Ephesians which begins the second part of it - the imperatives – what we’re told to do in light of the fact that we’re God’s children and all He has done for us.  This indicative/imperative thing flips on its head what most people think about the Bible – and even Christianity. And it’s what makes Christianity a totally different religion than any of the false religions out there. Most (if not all) religions are about doing. 

Given the quickly changing world we live in, we could very soon find ourselves in a foxhole with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We may even find ourselves face to face with evil. In light of who we are in Christ, how does God command us to react and behave? Join us as we find out together!

Everything we have looked at in the past 7 episodes of our series, Be Transformed, are connected. In this episode, our transformation takes a slightly different turn, but it's no less connected. In this episode, we look at being transformed to call out evil as evil. The world is changing rapidly. So many things that are evil are being touted as good, while true good is being denounced as evil. And this is true even in some of our churches! Christians need to have the courage and wisdom to call evil out, stand firm in Biblical Truth, while continuing to glorify God. It seems an impossible task, but Jesus tells us it is possible, but we need to be prepared. Join us for this episode and the next episode as we look at how we prepare ourselves to stand firm against evil and shine the light of the Gospel into an ever darkening world.
