We're finally watching one of the first movies we had on our list, "Airplane!" It's a true classic that laid the groundwork for so many movies that came after it. It's over 40 years old and people are still quoting tons of its lines whether they know the source material or not. I mean every line of the movie is a joke. It's deep and it's real. We pair it with a lovely 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon from Flying Cloud in Paso Robles, California. We highly recommend it. 

Metacritic Score: 78/100

Movie Sync Notes: We rented "Airplane!" on Amazon Video. We start "Airplane!" 5:05 into the pod and push play on part two 50:59 into the pod.

This week the boys fasten their seat belts, put their trays in an upright position and take off all the way back to 1980 for this classic comedy.  

This film is seen as the start of what will be many more spoof films to come but has it aged badly or is it just as good as you remember? 

Get the flight attendant to bring you a nice relaxing drink and settle in as 80's Adventure takes to the skies this week with Airplane!
