Christophe is a World renowned sailing photographer, taking photographs across our sport and works as a photo journalist for Voiles Et Voiliers sailing magazine. Christophe is much loved by all who work with him. We talked to him about his pathway and his passion for sailing and photography.

This week we sit down with Stu Bithell, Andy 'Taxi' Davis, and Simon Blake to discuss the Melin Rocket, a unique UK boat. The class was created by the merger of the Merlin and Rocket classes in the 1940's. The Merlin Rocket is designed to a box rule and as a result the boats have evolved and are thoroughly modern designs with plenty of strings to pull. They have a lot of great regattas and traditions that make them successful. We have watched them from afar for a lifetime, so were very keen to learn more about this class. Again it was a great chat. This week we wanted to look at how hard running an event like the ILCA 7 Worlds really is for volunteer run yacht clubs, and what the requirements World Sailing have of the clubs to ensure it is a World standard event. We have this conversation all the time with people who have put their hand up to run World Championships. For this Ep. we chatted to Peter Royle, Commodore Adelaide Sailing Club. Pete is a lifetime competitive sailor and he tells us about the work his team put in, what they had to consider and the help ASC received from all the clubs in South Australia. We thought it was an important discussion. Pete is a long-term mate, so it was a fun and open conversation.

This is the first episode of a 4-part series on Jonah.  This series looks at the life and ministry of Jonah in regards to his reluctant obedience as a prophet of God.  In this first episode (corresponding with Jonah Chapter 1), we see Jonah's flee from God's call.  We see his disobedience causing consequences for Jonah and even the men on the ship (innocent bystanders to what Jonah has done).  We also see God's care and compassion for the lost.  This first episode is the springboard for where the rest of the book will take us.  Encourage you to listen in and please share with someone who you think will be impacted by this message.

We have decided to start focussing on some sailing classes and learn more about them. This week we talk to Geoff Carne and Craig Phillips about the International Canoe, the oldest sailing dinghy class in the World. Geoff Carne is the current Australian Champ and Craig has been involved with 8 America’s Cup teams over 27 years.

In this Bible Story, Jesus defends a woman caught in adultery from being stoned to death. She is drug out into the public half naked for all to shame her. Yet Jesus stands up to the religious leaders, and proclaims that whoever was without sin could throw the first stone. Episode 195: The Pharisees once again trying to trap Jesus in His words bring Him a woman caught in the act of adultery. As they were trying to push Jesus into either forgiving the woman against the Law of Moses or stoning her as the Law requires, Jesus pushed them instead. He challenged them to take a look at the sin in their own lives first and the Pharisees began to leave one by one. When all who were left were Jesus and the woman, He spoke words of forgiveness and comfort, sending her on her way saying “go and sin no more.”
