To insist on the preeminence of the Jews over the rest of the nations, actively and forcefully undermines the restorative work of Jesus Christ. The “One New Man” created by our Savior cannot be split in two in an attempt to prop up long held doctrinal positions. To do so will in affect make one become Anti-Christ, a worker against the way of the Lord. To recreate a division no longer held in heaven or before the throne of YHWH, is to trample the blood of Jesus Christ and return again to the position of the Old Covenant that could never be saved.

Who are the Chosen People Of God?

The whole entire subject is a family affair: we all came from Adam and Eve, then from Noah and his sons- Shem, Ham, and Japheth. We are all related. The issue of liking or disliking one people group vs. another is nothing more than brothers fighting. To dislike one group is to dislike your own relatives.  Eve is the mother of all living. We are all related. There is no such thing as “races” of people. There is nothing more than ethnic groups based upon a common family tree and geographic location. So, how then can one be superior over another, based upon nothing more than their bloodline? We all spring from the same root. We all started from the same bloodline. The origin of all mankind is from a single family: Adam and Eve, then Noah and his wife. Now, at the end of time, we come together under one more man- Jesus. For now there is neither Jew nor Gentile, we are one new man.  Therefore, now at the end of time, the discussion is not one of excluding all people groups for the sake of the one. No. It is now the inclusion of all people groups under Messiah. Whoever believes in Jesus are the chosen of God, because He is the chosen one! All previous claims to being the children of God are made forfeit and are without standing before the courts of Heaven.

Stephanie is a huge fan, and has watched countless videos, so she was looking to chat about things she had not heard Dallas talk much about... So, on today’s interview, they talk about The Chosen series, of course, but also about the behind-the-scenes for the Jenkins family: what it took to get where they are, how it affected their marriage, parenting, and more.

For example, Dallas and Amanda tell us how they used their own personal experiences to depict the various personalities, struggles and successes of the main characters of The Chosen. Whether it be Eden, Simon-Peter or Nathanael, we can relate to them all because, fundamentally, we are like them—maybe not in the particulars of their struggles and failures, but in the general condition of sinfulness.

Dallas and Amanda are candidly honest about the struggles that have surrounded the last few years of their lives in marriage, parenting, and career. They point us to Jesus every time—and not in a cliché way. This conversation is refreshing, insightful, and inspiring.
