Do This and Have A Better Life... DO THE WORK - Day 363

    enAugust 11, 2017

    Podcast Summary

    • Consistency is key to success and strong relationshipsConsistently considering commitments before making promises leads to improved reputation, bottom line, and trust.

Consistency in business is key to success and building strong relationships. It may seem like common sense, but it's not uncommon for people to struggle with following through on their commitments. According to the speaker, there are several reasons for this: people may be overcommitting themselves, afraid to say no, or not considering the implications of their yes before they give it. Regardless of the cause, not keeping your word can lead to wasted time, missed opportunities, and damaged relationships. Therefore, it's essential to carefully consider your commitments and ensure that you have the capacity to fulfill them before making a promise. By doing so, you'll not only improve your business's reputation and bottom line but also earn the respect and trust of those around you.

    • Consistency in following through builds strong relationshipsConsistency in meeting commitments leads to trust and strong relationships in personal and professional life, while failure to do so can lead to damage to reputation and customer dissatisfaction in business.

Consistency in following through with commitments is crucial in both personal and professional aspects of life. The consequences of not doing so can lead to strained relationships and loss of trust. In business, especially for service-based industries, failing to meet expectations can lead to customer dissatisfaction and damage to reputation. Effective communication and advance notice when faced with unforeseen circumstances are key to managing expectations and maintaining trust. By consistently doing what we say we will do, we build strong relationships and improve overall quality of life and business success.

What Did You Do About It?

Next time you want to blame someone else for being ____ ask yourself - what did I do about it?  We are quick to blame others when we could have done more or done things differently.  It's often partially our own fault, more than we would like to admit. Admit it and be better.

    King of Heaven and Earth

    King of Heaven and Earth
Esau was devastated when he found out that Jacob had taken his blessing. But his priorities were not where they should have been from the beginning. When we say something is important to us but we do not place it in a position of importance, we are at risk of losing it. Esau was so angry that he wanted to kill Jacob so his mother sent him away. On his journey, God found him and extended the Abrahamic blessing to him. His dream gave Jacob a visual of just how involved God was in his life. Do you believe that God is involved in your every day life? We owe Him everything!
