    Podcast Summary

    • Reframing tasks as opportunitiesInstead of viewing tasks as obligations, make a 'get to do' list to add excitement and positivity to daily tasks

Shifting the mindset from viewing tasks as obligations to opportunities can significantly improve our attitude towards them. Kate Cocker, from the Volley network, suggests making a "get to do" list instead of a "have to do" list. By using the word "get" instead of "have to," we can reframe our perspective and add a sense of excitement to our daily tasks. This simple change can make a big difference in our motivation and energy levels, especially during busy seasons like fall. So, instead of seeing your to-do list as a daunting pile of work, try embracing it as a list of things you get to accomplish. This small shift in mindset can lead to a more positive and productive day. Remember, the way we approach our tasks can greatly impact our overall outlook and experience. Give it a try and see the difference it makes for you.

    #66 The Reality of failure

    #66 The Reality of failure

When you quit trying. That’s when you fail. Until then, you are just practicing and experiencing opportunities to get better. We put so much pressure on ourselves, to accomplish our goals, and when we don’t accomplish them when we feel we should we get discouraged, frustrated and often consider ourselves a failure. That can’t be further from the truth, the only time we truly fail is when we quit trying.

    want to avoid failure?

It’s simple. Don’t give up, keep going.
