Andrea and I have been planning this conversation for several months and have had to reschedule twice and tonight wasn't going to happen either! OK Universe/Higher Self/Goddess/Consciousness, WE ARE LISTENING!!!! We will resume this AhMazing conversation at a later date! This was also my final episode of EC, as I am going to be focusing on my Private Chef and Catering business and building my "Healthy Chef Steph" brand!!!

I am Thru the Roof EXCITED to be speaking with my this weeks guest on Empowered Conversations, Jonathan Powell!!!

Jonathan is from Indianapolis, IN. He currently does resale jobs for his landlord and sidewalk chalk advertisements. 

Battling homelessness for 10 years, Jonathan was often disregarded and treated as if getting himself out of homelessness was as simple as the snap of a finger! He was often approached by “unaware” people who would say to him, “Why don’t you just get a job?!” 

On Wednesday, Jonathan will share the fact that getting oneself out of homelessness is not such a simple task; it is a complex issue that requires education and better solutions.

Jonathan is fed up with most of the current outreach programs he has experienced in IN and wants to start his own outreach team to educate people how to survive and live on the streets, as well as educate, “regular” people about the challenges homeless people face day to day. Jonathan wants to break the stereo type that all homeless people are on drugs or are too lazy to work! Jonathan says, “that’s ridiculous!!” 

“If I don’t teach people about the problems, then we cannot create solutions.”

I myself have experience with helping the homeless; I am part of the organization, Atheist Helping the Homeless. We gather the 1st Saturday or Sunday of every month to distribute, toiletries, clothing and other items that most take for granted. We are NEVER there to proselytize, only help! I will share my own personal experience engaging and talking with many of them. Jonathan is 100% RIGHT, it is not laziness or a drug problem that has placed so many of them in the situation of being without a home to live in or possessing the basic human necessities needed in order to have comfort! In my experience it is the exact opposite, they are so gracious and giving and never greedy or lazy and ALSO go out of their way to look out for one other!

On this episode of EC, I share what all I have been up to and brought forth the past few months, including OFFICIALLY starting my private chef & catering business, as well as I share persevering through my, “dark night of the soul” journey!! 

I go into detail about what, “dark night of the soul” actually means, NO, I was not suicidal! 

If many of you remember,  several months ago, I went to the beach specifically intending, thru a micro-dose of psilocybin, to experience epiphanies and release ANYthing blocking me or no longer serving me and potentially inhibiting me from further fulfilling and embodying my purpose… but with no luck! 

My “higher self” (this is what I believe!) said, “NOPE, that ain’t how we gon do this Stephanie! In order to fully release and heal the baggage you’ve brought into this lifetime, you’re going to go on a roller coaster ride of scary, confused and gut wrenching emotions; THAT will bring about these epiphanic revelations you are seeking, hence heal and releeeeeease!” 

Annnnnnd that’s what I did! 

It sucked, but was worth it!

Often times our “intentions” surface in unexpected ways, ways that are painful, but in order to get through it, and to the other side of where you belong, and are WORTHY of being, it can be a painful process! Intentionally asking for (this) was the catalyst! 

Be intentional! If you’re going through a difficult time, ask questions, ask questions, and keep asking questions… answers will eventually be revealed!

If you keep attracting the same bullshit  situation or situations into your life, ask questions, ask questions, and keep asking questions… answers will eventually be revealed!

This is my story and I’m stickin to it!

From being compared to a masturbation scene during a sales meeting... at the office... on a Friday morning, to being bullied and having my feelings constantly hurt as a child, to how my mamas lack of self worth and hate for herself, As Well AS, so often throughout my life being told I'm "Too Much"... is ALL part of what has shaped my life, my destiny and my purpose! 

During this interview on, "All Things Authentic", I share my "truth" and my "why" of how all these life happenings have been catalysts and paramount in my own personal development and empowerment. This has also fueled my inspiration to become a worthiness and health coach, assisting others in the facilitation of the worth and value I possess about myself... into their lives!!!

Heather Roberts took the unconventional way to entrepreneurship. She was a stay-at-home mom for 14 years. Running the PTA, Summer Bible School, fundraising, co-writing a cookbook and not to mention toddler tantrums, taught her she could handle negotiating with any buyer anywhere, anyplace, anytime. It also gave her the foundation to co-found RSG Sales, an E-Commerce Account Management Firm for Home Decor and Furniture suppliers who sell to Wayfair, Overstock, HomeDepot.com, & other major e-commerce accounts. 

After spending 6 years building RSG Sales she had a realization. It was time to take everything she learned helping others grow their product business and do it for herself. In 2013 she founded E by Design, a decorative throw pillow company. Within two and a half years her company, E by Design, was a top 5 pillow supplier with Wayfair. The company was also featured in major publications and networks including House Beautiful, HGTV, Property Brothers and Coastal Living.  In 2019 Heather sold E by Design with a 7 figure plus exit.

Since her exit from E by Design Heather has refocused her efforts on life’s passion. Serving women who are juggling the growth of their own 7 figure business and raising their families. Women need to create space by maintaining boundaries, leverage our strengths, and support each other. 

Heather is also the author of The SPARK System, Conquer Today’s E-Commerce Landscape the Right Way. She is currently working on her second book which examines the concept of creating space to grow, live, and profit by living a "boundary" filled life!

Jeremy graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and began his career in classical French cuisine, working in fine restaurants in the United States and abroad.

Ali Khan is a television host and multi-hyphenate “creative” in the food and comedy space. 

The current host of Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship, is most known for his breakout series, Cheap Eats. Cheap Eats is Hands Down one of my FAVORITE shows on the Food Network!! He is So Funny!!!!!

Cheap Eats ran for 5 seasons on Cooking Channel, internationally on Food Network and is currently streaming on Discovery Plus. 

Ali is also a regular on, The Best Thing I Ever Ate, a judge on Food Network’s Chopped and Chopped Junior and he recently launched his own YouTube Series, ALI VS THE DOME!!!
