    Let's Talk Autism Spectrum Disorder

    Let's Talk Autism Spectrum Disorder

Our host, Mary Renouf, is joined by Dr. Emily Morgan, who has a PhD in Psychology and specializes in working with children, parents, and families. In this conversation we get a better understanding of autism spectrum disorder, how to recognize signs in children and adults, what that looks like for the person with autism and the people around them and caring for them. We also discuss the difference in how we view this condition today in comparison to years ago. What we’ve learned, how it affects the family dynamic and how we make a safe space for individuals with autism and make that individual a part of the process of creating that safe space.
