Jason didn’t sugarcoat much, and I honestly respect that so much in a person.  I learned a lot from this episode and will definitely take some of this advice to heart.

Everyone’s journey is so different and it was nice to talk to someone pursuing a unique business model and crushing it. Truly hope you guys enjoy the episode.

Speaking with Frida made me realize how much I want to just surround myself with good wholesome people. The kind of people that have a passion for tradition, family, and what they do. I learned a ton from this episode and I hope you enjoyed it as well.  Check out Frida's farm through her website and Instagram linked below.

Building out a COFFEE TRAILER to Roasting on the AILLIO BULLET - Storyline Coffee Roasters (Ep. 12)

Building out a COFFEE TRAILER to Roasting on the AILLIO BULLET - Storyline Coffee Roasters (Ep. 12)

In this episode, we discuss the incredible journey of Tyler Ellison as he takes us on the journey of building out a coffee trailer, legal issues with the name of the business, roasting on the new Aillio bullet, and the battle to keep pursuing coffee.  I had a blast speaking with Tyler and I learned a ton in this episode. I have been curious about the coffee trailer arena and he definitely did not glamorize or sugarcoat anything about the realities of it.

Creating Sustainable Coffee Partnerships in Colombia: Ben Hermann - Native Root Coffee (Ep. 11)

Creating Sustainable Coffee Partnerships in Colombia: Ben Hermann - Native Root Coffee (Ep. 11)

I learned a ton from Ben in this episode and the conversation really shed some light on how we can all work together to help coffee farmers earn a sustainable income. Hearing about the landscape, the people, the culture, the native language, and the laughter is what makes coffee so special. There is a story to be shared for everyone in the coffee supply chain and the happier we can make everyone's experience in that chain the better off we will be as a coffee culture.

From Arc 800 to Mill City 3KG - Expanding the business - Alex Ketron | Aulie's Coffee Co. (Ep.10)

This episode made me reflect on why some people are building a legacy while others are chasing a hobby.  Speaking with Alex was such a pleasure. I feel like we had so much in common (besides how fast he is executing and moving forward). Alex is a hustler and it comes through in this podcast. STARTING a COFFEE SHOP and ROASTERY - My Thoughts - (Episode 9)

STARTING a COFFEE SHOP and ROASTERY - My Thoughts - (Episode 9)

It has been long overdue. My dream for starting a coffee shop goes back many years. Hopefully, 2022 is the year I can make that dream become a reality. Like all ventures though there is risk involved.  I know things can change quickly and not go as planned but I am pretty confident that this will be something we can pull off in 2022. I hope the series I am about to document is beneficial to you and I hope Cedar Ota is a place we can all gather one day and meet, drink coffee, and discuss the shenanigans we are about to embark upon! Thank you guys for coming along on this journey!

El Salvador: Never to Young To Start - Mathias Sauerbrey - Coffee Republic (Episode 7)

El Salvador: Never to Young To Start - Mathias Sauerbrey - Coffee Republic (Episode 7)

Mathias was one incredible person to speak with. The focus and drive he has at such a young age are mind-blowing. It is never too early to start chasing a dream and I am honestly jealous of the maturity and ambition he has achieved so early in life. A go-getter mindset coupled with the entrepreneur spirit is something I admire in people.  I loved hearing Mathias's story and hearing about his grandparent's coffee farm in El Salvador and how he is giving back to them by creating his company from the ground up. The El Salvadorian country, culture, and people seem very special and you can tell in his voice how much he cares.  Mathias was not shy about his views and I loved that about him as well.

I hope the fire in your soul never fades away buddy! Truly appreciate you sharing your journey with me!
