Missing these critical elements in your copy?

Missing these critical elements in your copy?
I constantly see wonderful resources like tip sheets, special reports, and bulletins that are missing critical elements. These elements stop your prospect from contacting you, and caused them to go to your competitors who understand this simple technique.

If you want better response from every word you write, then pay close attention to today’s episode. We cover the importance of two elements in every written piece. As well as some editorial elements to make sure you send the right copy for the right medium.

Hidden within today’s episode is also a marketing campaign guaranteed to generate leads. It’s a low-cost approach to get you started with content marketing. Meanwhile your top prospects get something of value and know what the next step is when it comes to hiring you.

    Policygenius: Jennifer Fitzgerald

    Policygenius: Jennifer Fitzgerald
Some of the world's biggest industries sell products that we all need...but don't want to think about. That's what drew Jennifer Fitzgerald to insurance: she wanted to help people understand the often bewildering world of protecting themselves in case of emergencies. In 2013, she and her partner Francois de Lame left their stable and lucrative consulting jobs to create Policygenius, an online marketplace for insurance that lets consumers compare rates and learn everything they need to know to make informed decisions about their financial future. At the beginning, Jennifer couldn't convince investors to take a chance on the company, and faced rejection after rejection as she tried to hold on to a handful of customers. But by building a relationship with the financial blogging community—and leaning in to a few well-placed financial technology puns—Policygenius got a foot in the door. By 2020, Jennifer and her team had raised over $100 million, and the company now has more than 30 million users.

The #1 Strategy Every Business Needs to Start Using Right Now

The #1 Strategy Every Business Needs to Start Using Right Now

Today’s episode is a GaryVee TV Classic. If you aren't thinking of your business as a media company in 2021, you are at a disadvantage to any business that is. Being at the mercy of someone else's platform puts you in a position of vulnerability and lack of leverage versus your competitors. Too many businesses are thinking about creating ads for the Wall Street Journal when they need to start thinking of themselves as the WSJ. Whoever has the platform with the most attention gets to decide what the market does and does not see. This is an extremely important concept and will be fundamental to the success of so many businesses and personal brands! Enjoy! Let me know what you thought.

Constant marketing can be a deadly trap of inefficient in volume is writing. It might seem profitable to write more, but the secret is shared in this episode.

    Why content marketing is futile

    Why content marketing is futile
Here’s the number one reason why writing more constant isn’t the solution. If you want more traffic, leads, and sales from business websites listen carefully.

Your clients want the next article, the next podcast, or something else to pour organic traffic over their website. This isn’t 1999. Search engines are smarter. Social media knows more about the audience.

Because so many insights are available you’re not gonna get organic traffic on constant alone. If you want more leads and more sales, you’ve got to do something different. Today’s episode covers why content marketing is futile.
