Why is Jesus superior to angels? I. Angels are messengers but Jesus is the Son, vv4-5. II. Angels worship the Son, v6. III. Angels obey the Son because the Son is God, vv7-9.
We take a look at the false prophet of Christendom throughout the ages, starting with a look at the famous forged document, "The Donation of Constantine."

PSALMS
The power of music + melody + poetry together = songs.
Singing to the Lord together is good for our mental health, our soul, our appreciation of God and of one another. Open your heart, bring yourself into the story of God.
Why do we sing? As Pascal said, "the heart has reasons for which reason knows not..." Music is one of the few gifts we have to bring love, to bring peace, to bring healing, to speak out against injustice, to bring praise and adoration to those we love. Music crosses those valleys, those deserts, those oceans within us and helps to bring us home within ourselves, connecting with God, and with one another.
Join us Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am during the warmer months.

Pastor of Formation & Mission Benjamin Kandt kicks off our Summer in the Psalms series, Singing in The Reign. From Psalm 2, Pastor Ben shows that in response to human rebellion, the Father promises His Son a kingdom of people who will rejoice in His rule.
When we read the Bible we must take into account the nuances of the words being used. Join Caleb in this episode as he explores the various meanings of the title Son, and how Psalm 2 is used in the NT.

PSALM 2
The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed.
1 Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the Lord and against His cAnointed, saying,
3 “Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
4 He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying,
6 “But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
7 “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
9 ‘You shall abreak them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’ ”
10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
11 Worship the Lord with areverence
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
