    While acknowledging that there are some things we can’t control like global macroeconomics and geopolitical events, Kelley points to the things we can control on our journey to and through retirement.  These include auditing our beneficiaries, making the most of a health savings account if eligible, and leveraging your RMD.  She also notes changes in strategies after age 50 in areas such as your risk, tracking down old accounts, and Social Security pre-strategies.  Kelley then points out some surprises retirees and pre-retirees encounter including inflation, expenses, and cash flow.
