#154: 7 Tips To Stay Motivated and Create Lifelong Habits and see the RESULTS!

Have you ever thought you wish you could be more motivated when it comes to your health and fitness? I get asked all of the time about motivation, and how I stay so motivated

In today’s episode, I’m talking about 7 tips to help you stay motivated with your health and fitness. I’m also sharing more about the importance of actually following a plan; this takes so much guesswork out, because you know exactly what you need to be doing.

    EPISODE HIGHLIGHT:

    • Think deeper about what your purpose is
    • What works with someone will not always work for you
    • Always Prioritise your sleep
    • Plan and prepare your food
    • Exercise is very important to feel good
    • Book into something you're committed to
    • Incorporate some fun with what you are doing.

At the end of the day, you’re not always going to be motivated-it’s as simple as that. However, I truly believe motivation (not perfection) is something that is achievable for everyone, once you have the right plan in place, and you start seeing results.

    WAS THIS HELPFUL?

I’d be so grateful if you could take a moment to follow, leave a 5-star rating, and download a few more episodes.

Finding Your Center and Staying Motivated as an Entrepreneur | Talking with Tarashuk

Finding Your Center and Staying Motivated as an Entrepreneur | Talking with Tarashuk

Are you an entrepreneur who is feeling lost or burnt out?

In this clip from the Talking with Tarashuk Podcast, I sit down with the Founder & CEO of Day One, Andrew Hutton to discuss how you find your center and stay motivated as an entrepreneur. Andrew shares his own personal experiences and insights, and offers practical advice on how to overcome challenges and build a successful business.

Here are some key takeaways from the episode:

    1. Find your center. What are you passionate about? What are you good at? What are you uniquely qualified to do? Once you know your center, you can use it to guide your business decisions and stay motivated.

    2. Don't be afraid to pivot. Things don't always go according to plan, so be prepared to change course if necessary. Don't be afraid to fail, and learn from your mistakes.

    3. Build a strong support system. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and your business. Having a strong support system will help you stay motivated when things get tough.

If you're an entrepreneur who is feeling lost or burnt out, I encourage you to listen to this episode.

Stay Motivated with Clear Goals with Lilia Stoyanov, Transformify

When you set clear goals, it’s much easier to stay motivated (and therefore satisfied) on your entrepreneurial journey. In this episode, the CEO of Transformify, Lilia Stoyanov, shares her approach to goal setting, the importance of getting experience before going out on your own, and why you should always pay attention to the numbers!

    About Lilia Stoyanov:

Lilia Stoyanov is an angel investor and the CEO of Transformify, a revolutionary HR software and freelance platform. As a visionary leader who built a ”hiring one-stop shop,” Lilia has received many awards, including the 2018 Female Entrepreneur Enterprise Award, the 2017 First Women Award, and the Top 10 Fintech Innovations Award.

    Episode highlights:

    • Ask yourself what you want and get clear on the answer. It's much easier to plan your roadmap to success when you have clarity around where you are heading. (06:57)
    • Pay attention to the numbers! If you don’t focus on profitability and sustainability, the value of your business can come crashing down overnight. (07:47)
    • Get as much experience as you can before you start your own business. There are certain things that you need to know to be able to succeed, and you can’t learn those things in school. (24:22)
    • Fill your life with learning opportunities. Read books, listen to podcasts, and nurture relationships with knowledgeable people; this is how you will grow as an entrepreneur. (26:44)
    • Goals keep people motivated and motivated people are more satisfied at work. To enhance the level of satisfaction within your business, set measurable, well-defined goals for yourself and your team members that can be achieved within the space of a few months. (37:30)

    Lilia’s best advice for entrepreneurs:

“It’s impossible to be good at what you do if you isolate yourself. You need to speak with other entrepreneurs, with people who are successfully managing businesses. You need to learn from them.” (27:02)

    119:How to Stay Motivated

    How do you stay motivated?

I know there are days when motivation decides to escape through the window, yet there is a lot to be done. When such days come, you do not have to fret. I have some tips that will help you get back on track.

Set your goals: When you have a goal, it helps you remain motivated and focused. Nothing beats seeing yourself get closer to your goals.

Break down your goals: As humans, we tend to put off tasks that are too big. We feel like they're going to take a lot of time. The secret lies in breaking them down. There is an old saying, how do you eat an elephant? You eat it one bite at a time.

Ask for reviews: Nothing can get you all fired up than a good review from a customer. It gives you the confidence to keep moving. Don't shy away from asking for reviews.

Feel gratitude: Being grateful opens doors in our lives, and it keeps us going and looking forward to better days. Do you have a gratitude routine?

Key Talking Points of the Episode:

    [01:10] Goal setting

    [01:45] Break down your goals

[02:46] Ask your customers for reviews and feedback

    [04:08] Feel gratitude

    Standout Quotes from the Episode:

"The more grateful we are, the more we attract goodness to ourselves, which ultimately then keeps us motivated."

"If you've got a vision to aim for, you're going to be motivated to achieve that goal. There's nothing better than being able to tick off that to do list."

What To Do If You Get Benched In Your Sport Every Week

What To Do If You Get Benched In Your Sport Every Week
You show up to practice, you give it your all! You work hard with your team and in practice you absolutely crush it! Yet you still don't get picked to play on game day. You sit on the bench and watch your team mates compete. What thoughts run through your mind when this happens? * you create doubts in your mind whether you are good enough. * there are the usual politics that go on in the team - of course you don't get picked. * you don't get picked because you aren't one of the coach's favourites. * you start to compare yourself to the rest of the team. * your performance level drops and stop playing at a high level that you know you are capable to compete at that level. * you feel like it's a constant struggle. What do you do? The worst possible thing that you can do for yourself is to stay in this mindset as it will be destructive. Here is a 2 step plan for you below; Step 1 - Meet with your coach and ask questions. 1. Why aren't I getting picked to play with the team in competitions? (just listen and take notes). 2. What do I need to do to get picked into the team to compete? (suggestion of drills to do etc). Step 2 - Devise A Plan. * Everything that you have learned from your coach, now you put the plan in place. 1. What are you going to do? 2. How you are going to do it? 3. When are you going to do it? Now get to work! Make sure you listen the this episode as explained in great detail of understanding for you. Get your note book ready and take notes. If you are struggling in your sport. If you are not getting picked in the team to play on game day. If you are constantly benched throughout the season. When you finally get picked you don't play well, you miss shots you shouldn't miss. You don't show the high level of play you know you are capable. You struggle with staying motivated because the hard work is not paying off yet. I have put together a FREE VIDEO TRAINING for you. We identify; * what is holding you back from getting the results you work so hard for. * we work on how to create more wins in your sport. * show you step by step how to plan it out to make it happen.
